Perez Hilton Withdraws Support For President Obama

There’s been a lot of talk about the so-called enthusiasm gap between Democratic and Republican voters. Now it’s being reported that the easily enthused gossip blogger Perez Hilton has fallen into that gap. Hilton, who resides in the gubernatorial battleground state of California, told Politico that President Obama “fails to inspire me,” citing “his smoking” and “lack of support for Latinos and gays.” He added, “I’m very much looking forward to 2012!” Enthusiastic, yes — but not the kind the Dems were hoping for.

Does this mean that Hilton, a nonsmoking gay Latino, will vote for a Republican president in 2012? Time will tell. But he did tell Politico that while he may be disillusioned with Mr. Obama’s accomplishments, he still supports First Lady Michelle Obama in her endeavors, particularly those of health and fitness:

I am very impressed with the first lady’s focus on fitness, especially her outreach to young Americans. Education and inspiration towards leading healthy lifestyles is critical.

No word yet on how badly the President’s poll numbers have suffered after losing the gossip blogger’s endorsement.

Who cares what this idiot thinks? I mean it’s one thing for an intelligent person to be dissuaded from supporting Obama.. but this? This is like if Lindsay Lohan or Snooki stopped supporting Obama.

Also, he’s looking forward to 2012? For what? If republicans win he can kiss goodbye any chance of DADT disappearing.. oh and marriage.

Not a surprise though, most people vote against themselves. Look at all the broke people that are voting for Tea Party Republicans. The same people that want to raise taxes for the poor, reduce welfare, reduce the minimum wage, give corporations big tax cuts to ship jobs overseas, refuse abortion to rape victims, they don’t believe in science, they want to mix religion with government…. I mean, if the Tea Party movement manages to gain control. Say goodbye to what America has been for the last 200 years.

I’m not saying Obama isn’t being a major fuck up, but you don’t upend the entire country because your party lost the nomination. Barack Obama isn’t going to bring our country to it’s knees, the people after him will.
