Rand Paul On Aqua Buddha: “I Absolutely Deny Kidnapping Anyone, Ever”

video

Former secret society frat boy and current candidate for Senate Rand Paul took to Neil Cavuto today to respond to a number of things including charges in yesterday’s GQ profile that in college he tied up a girl and tried to make her smoke pot and then forced her to bow down and worship the Aqua Buddha. Side note: I’ve wondered more than once this week whether between Paul, Steven Slater, Michelle Obama’s trip to Spain, and the Mosque, Shark Week hasn’t taken a hit in ratings.

Back to the Aqua Buddha. When asked about the allegations Rand Paul had this to say:

Please spare us the details. You know they also have pictures of me with an alien. They’re also now saying I could have been abducted by aliens at one point in my college career. [It's unclear whether Paul is trying to make a National Enquirer joke here]. I mean this stuff is just outrageous and ridiculous. No I was never involved with kidnapping. No I was never involved with forcibly drugging people.

Paul also bemoans today’s media that allows anonymous sources to come forward with complaints that he will now have to answer for the rest of the campaign — though, really in the larger scheme of political scandal “Aqua Budha ranks pretty high on the awesome meter. Also, the story is “absolutely not true” and “I absolutely deny kidnapping anyone ever.” Watch below.

Well, he certainly does make very valid points about the left liberal idiotic media. They continue to dismiss themselves with their lies, untruths, journolista propaganda, etc., etc., etc.

Glynnis: Are you a member of journolist?

it’s only fair..the other frats had clubs that didn’t kidnap, tie, and forced pot smoking so in a fair market society, he had to have a club that did all these

Paul doesn’t seem all that convincing, does he? I’m not sure he even believes what he is saying.

    THE BECKERHEAD’S LIES
    ARE OFT BLUBBERING CRIES,
    BUT TO MISINFORM
    IS MERELY HIS NORM.
    HOW E’ER HE COMMUNICATES
    HE ALWAYS PREVARICATES.

  • timzank

Maybe he should just admit to smoking a lotta dope and doin’ a lotta lines like Teh One.

In Paul’s case it would be a refreshing bit of honesty.

I along with MSNBC think this is a funny kidnapping story. Funny horrible. But funny.

Yeah, too bad he wouldn’t get a complete pass on it though like Barry, after all Paul is a white guy. No pass available.

Seems lame to go after him for this stuff. At least he did not say he “did not inhale”. Paul believes in freedom and that is an important part of college life.

    Barry got a pass?

  • valkyrie101

Yea, OK, I’m sorry, you are right. He did get a pass. I thought you were talking about Mayor Barry.

He got a pass from D.C. blacks. They voted the ho’-loving crackhead jailbird for mayor in 1994.

I suppose he is probably the only politician or person to get it on with drugs and lose woman. Black people are very tight with and forgiving of their trusted public servants. That’s noble. Rush was a drug addict for many years. And lots of loose woman. He landed awfully easy in the laps of the Christian family values crowd, if you ask me. Glenn, of course is an easy target. So why should Mayor Barry not get re-elected, since Beck and Rush both had long standing illegal drug habits, and were gladly elected as spokespeople in chief for the conservatives.

Well I do think Limbaugh is a hypocrite. Though I’m not sure how he gets along with the family-values crowd. Not sure about his “loose women” either. What evidence do you have? In any case, despite what MSNBC tells you, Limbaugh doesn’t run anything but his mouth (yes, I know, craven politicians crave the support of his audience–it’s still not the same thing as actually running a government). On the other hand, black people gave Marion Barry the reins of power in DC. I suppose DC is so fucked up the blacks didn’t think it was worth risking fucking it up a little more if it meant sticking a finger in whitey’s eye.

He’ll get a pass, just like he should. He just has to admit it. That’s what Obama and Bush did and neither of them got the treatment Clinton did for ‘not inhaling’.

Hell, I’d have more respect for him for doing it.
