Soundbite: Sarah Palin The Wind Beneath Obama’s ‘Just War’ Wings?

PalinMilitary

“I liked what he said…I talked too in my book about the fallen nature of man and why war is necessary at times.”

Former Governor of Alaska, and current best-selling author (and possible 2012 third party candidate) Sarah Palin weighs in on President Barack Obama’s Nobel Peace Prize speech yesterday. Alas, not in an extended post on her Facebook page, but in a quote to USA Today whose readership is just about on par with the number of “friends” Palin’s page boasts (1.9 million and 1.1 million, respectively). Is Palin attempting to take credit for Obama’s “just war” philosophy? Perhaps just wishful thinking. The president has stated he has no plans to go rogue with Going Rogue.

Obama should apologize to Palin. Because we know that Sarah Palin is the first political philosopher to talk about “why war is necessary at times.” Where does he get off with incendiary statements like that, when we all know they sprang fully-formed from the unruffled brow of America’s favorite hockey mom?

I was waiting for an article on this knowing that Glynnis would take the bait and criticize Palin. She can’t win in Glynnis’s eyes….she says something nice about teh one and Glynnis attacks, she says something bad about teh one and Glynnis attacks. Too funny.

And out of the Repug vomitorium comes the unkempt mind of…Sarah Palin! Or is that…Sarah Bush?? Great intellects think/drink alike. Her comments are, as always, magnificent. And the Wingnuts hang hungrily on every word. She truly makes Bubba J. look intelligent. When will this tongue-speaking woodchuck return to Alaska?? Or better yet, that great Moose-hunting Lodge in the sky?? We must stay tuned. She vastly appeals to the hayseeds in our midst. Kinda like an alcoholic strolling thru Octoberfest. Ummm.

No, Obama should fire Joe Biden and appoint Sarah Palin as VTOTUS. Then he should resign, but only after personally repealing the 22nd Amendment so she can serve as President-for-Life. Then all of our problems will be solved by plain’ ol’ common sense! Washington elites like We can have smaller government: for starters, fire all the White House press staff. (President Palin will address the nation via Facebook.) Then we can order air strikes on Katie Couric and Playgirl. Every state dinner will feature turkey on the menu, and they’ll either be ceremonially killed in the Oval Office while President Palin looks on, or hunted from helicopters (if turkeys won’t fly, then hunters certainly should.) We’ll do away with trials for terrorism suspects, and instead make them compete in the swimsuit competition — and since bearded guys don’t tend to do well in beauty pageants, First Dude Todd Palin will execute them by running them over with a heavily armored snow machine.

EVERYTHING WILL BE BETTER BECAUSE SARAH PALIN WILL MAKE IT SO! BUY GOLD! WATCH OUT FOR FEMA PRISON CAMPS! BLACK HELICOPTERS! BIRTH CERTIFICATES! COPENHAGEN!

What in the hell are you talking about?

This does go to prove the theory that says, “It’s about Palin, not about policies.” She says she agreed with something the President say… and you trash her. She disagrees, and you trash her.

Seems like YOU’VE got the problem.

    Have you been drinking?

You’re making almost as much sense as Nachi… which is to say, none.

I didn’t trash Sarah Palin. I think a political philosopher of the first order, like Sarah Palin, whose ideas informed Obama’s Nobel lecture, should be President. I think she should kick out all those dirty leftist commie socialists of the Democrat Party out of there, put a treasonous, traitorous usurper like Barack HUSSEIN Obumbles in Gitmo, and show us what REAL America (but not Northern Virginia) wants, with some plain ol’ common-sense governing. First, she should appoint Glenn Beck as the Secretary of the Treasury, given his bold vision of the future. (After all, he’s not a politician…but he is a thinker.) We’re not sure exactly what she’ll do — she hasn’t told us yet — but before she quits the Presidency to move on to really helping America, I’m sure it’ll be great.

Do you think that your sarcastic rage helps/convinces/impresses anyone? It’s painfully obvious that all you want to do is hate Sarah Palin… and that’s fine, I’m sure it will make you popular in Hollywood.

But rational… well, no. But if you’re happy being irrational, and perpetually pounding sand… go for it. Be the angry guy! I just don’t get what you think you’re accomplishing.

Sarcastic rage? Anger? Pounding sand? How quickly you are to hate!

I’ve turned over a new leaf, and I am a BIG Sarah Palin fan! She’s, like, y’know, awesome!

She should be our President — it’s kind of like being a bestselling author, except with actual responsibilities and sometimes people asking you tough questions. And we know Our Sarah can handle the tough questions! She sure showed that jackal of the LIBERAL COMMIE UNAMERICAN TRAITOR MEDIA Katie Couric a thing or three!

    PALIN! PALIN! PALIN!

Wow, the McCain camp is desperate. We are on the precipice of a Global Recession and they want to talk about someone who committed crimes when Obama was 8 years old. America is a land of second chances. Today Ayers is dedicated to educating poor minority children. You would think McCain would know this. After all his entire career has been given a second chance after his criminal Keating Five days.
