WATCH: Sarah Silverman Promotes the ‘Black NRA’
Sarah Silverman leads the charge for a new branch of the NRA in this new video from Funny of Die, which also features black comedians David Alan Grier, Deon Cole and Ron Funches. Since the group allegedly believes it’s “every American’s right to bear arms,” this new PSA figures they must mean every American, right?
As Silverman explains, the Black NRA “will put guns into the hands of those who need them most”: young black males. The comedians go on to explain that as long as Stand Your Ground laws remain on the books in dozens of states, we might as well make it a fair fight. “In an ideal world, no one would need guns,” they say. “But if some people have them, we all should have one.”
