I recently had to get my birth certificate from New York City in order to have my driver’s license renewed. I sent my request to NYC, paid the necessary fee and received my “CERTIFICATION OF LIVE BIRTH” from the NYC bureau of vital statistics. Guess what? It looks exactly like the copy of Obama’s that one can view on the internet!!! It even has a raised seal and is accepted as proof of citizenship..not only by the motor vehicle dept. but for passports and marriage licenses…this, of course is in complete contradiction to Trumps claims just today on CNN. The problem is some states give out “Certificates of Live Birth” to people who were not born in the State. What people are looking for is the real Birth Certificate.

I think it exists and Obama was born here, but some theories say that the “White/Caucasian” check box may be checked and/or his name is listed was “Barry”. In other words, it’s an embarrassment issue.

The problem now is too much time has passed and many people won’t believe Obama/. He should have released it YEARS ago and no one would be talking about it.

And as the economy stays a disaster, more people in the middle are wondering about him.

Well, I sure as hell got a passport with my standard length birth certificate….which says at the top “Certification of Live Birth”. I was never asked for anything more. Furthermore the document that Hawaii has meets the criteria that the State Dept requires.

At the time, I didn’t know there was a difference between a cert of live birth, and a birth certificate. The funny thing is, the cert of live birth looks so much more impressive.

When has Obama said that? He provided the certificate that you question.

But my point is that the certificate that I have IS my birth certificate. It’s half a page long. That’s it. If there’s some longer document out there, I have never been shown it…nor has anyone ever asked me to produce it for any reason.

He “changed his mind” because it’s against the law for the government to show your birth certificate to anyone who does not have a direct relationship to you (such as a parent, child, or other relative). McRae: “Could I ask her about his actual birthplace? I would like to see his birthplace when I come to visit Kenya in December. Was she present when he was born in Kenya?”

“She says yes she was. She was present when Obama was born,” said the translator.

Smoking gun? Only if you stop the tape there and don’t listen to the rest of the interview.

McRae immediately followed up by saying, “Okay, when I come in December, I would like to go by the place, the hospital where he was born. Could you tell me where he was born? Was he born in Mombasa?”

The translator can be heard translating, and then, he said, “No. Obama was not born in Mombasa. He was born in America.”

Said McRae: “Whereabouts was he born? I thought he was born in Kenya.”

The response came back, “He was born in America, not in Mombasa.”

“Do you know where he was born?” McRae continued. “I thought he was born in Kenya. I was gonna go by and see where he was born.”

“Hawaii. She says he was born in Hawaii,” the translator said. “In the state of Hawaii, where his father, his father was also learning there. The state of Hawaii.”

“I thought she said she was present,” McRae said. “Was she able to see him being born in Hawaii?”

“No, no,” the translator said. “…She was not … she was here in Kenya. Obama was born in America … Because the grandmother was back in Kenya and Obama was born in America, where he is from, where his father was learning, learning in America, the United States.”

McRae — who we should emphasize was not the translator — has kept the theory alive. In a Dec. 5, 2008 article, Salon ran an affidavit from McRae in which he maintains Sarah Obama confirmed she witnessed Obama’s birth in Kenya:

“Though some few younger relatives, including Mr. Ogombe (one of the translators), have obviously been versed to counter such facts with the common purported information from the American news media that Obama was born in Hawaii, Ms. Sarah Hussein Obama was very adamant that her grandson, Senator Barack Hussein Obama, was born in Kenya, and that she was present and witnessed his birth in Kenya, not the United States. When Mr. Ogombe attempted to counter Sarah Obama’s clear responses to the question, verifying the birth of Senator Obama in Kenya, I asked Mr. Ogombe, how she could be present at Barack Obama’s birth if the Senator was born in Hawaii, but Ogombe would not answer the question, instead he repeatedly tried to insert that, “No, No, No. He was born in the United States!”

That’s not what we heard on the tape. What we heard was a very rough translation in which an elderly woman agreed to the leading question that Obama was born in Kenya and that she was present. But it was immediately and clearly corrected — repeatedly.

That is right. The one thing the teabaggers can not explain is why the COLB has not been debunked by any of the many state and federal agencies (or it’s employees) as a phony document. We are talking vital statistics (health dept. in HI), the FBI, CIA, Secret Service (the people who ensure the tamper proof nature of our legal tender) etc. Why has nobody (an official with a name) come out and said that the document shown is fake? Not true. I have a passport to prove it….and one that was obtained using a Certification of Live Birth.

You are missing the case of when a person has a baby elsewhere and submits the info to the newspaper. Regardless, it’s very easy to get a certificate of live birth in Hawaii (as I pointed out.)
