Fox News Gets Dan Rather’s First Interview After CBS Case Dismissed
The New York Supreme Court appellate division dismissed Dan Rather’s $70 million lawsuit against his former employer CBS yesterday, and both sides have weighed in. But one person who hasn’t talked yet is Rather himself.
He’ll make his first comments since the dismissal tomorrow – on Fox News.
Mediaite has learned Neil Cavuto will have the exclusive interview with Rather tomorrow on his 4pmET show Your World. It will also be on his Fox Business Network program at 6pmET.
Rather’s next plan of action – his lawyer hinted at an appeal yesterday – will be discussed.
The decision to talk to Cavuto first is not a surprise. Rather has appeared on his show several times in the past. Here is one of those appearances:

60 Minutes aired tonight what feels like the kajillionth interview/profile of White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel. Boy does he look tired. Perhaps the most interesting thing to come from the spot, especially in light of today's epic vote on health care reform, is that Rahm thinks that Washington is working just fine. For real.
Bart Stupak Will Vote Yes On Health Care: “Real Winners Are The American People”
This is the game-changer, folks: Democratic Congressman Bart Stupak held a press conference at 4 p.m. today saying he's voting yes on the House health care bill, with President Barack Obama signing an executive order that places restrictions on federal funding that can go to abortions in order to get the necessary voting bloc that Stupak brings to the table.
