Friendly Fire? Ed Schultz Takes On Michael Moore For Criticizing Bin Laden Killing

Ed Schultz has had enough of liberals criticizing how President Obama handled the killing of Osama bin Laden and specifically targets Michael Moore. Although he admits that he respects Moore for all he’s done to advance the progressive liberal movement, Schultz confidently declared Moore is “factually wrong” when it comes to Bin Laden.

Schultz was responding to Moore’s assessment that America lost some of our soul in the way that we were determined to kill Bin Laden rather than attempt to put him through a judicial process. Schultz noted the fact that Obama had two teams prepared (one to kill Bin Laden and one to capture and interrogate him) and he argued that Obama demonstrated America’s soul when “he chose the riskiest path to get this mission completed,” rather than just bombing the place and potentially killing many innocent people. Schultz concluded:

“The fact of the matter is, the intellectual liberal hand-wringing needs to stop in this country. People who voted for President Obama had to know he was willing to go anywhere at anytime to take out the world’s number one terrorist.”

When Schultz gets “fired up” it’s usually the conservatives who are on the receiving end, yet it’s certainly entertaining to see Schultz willing to effectively “takedown” anyone, on either side of the political spectrum, with his passionate arguments.

Special Ed is like the ballplayer who strikes out a lot and looks bad doing it, but every now and then hits one out. This was war. That man killed thousands of people, and watched the reruns with glee. It’s the No. 1 achievement of the Obama administration.
