Limbaugh Bashes Biden: “Why Don’t You Grow Up And Reacquaint Yourself With Our Constitution?”

developing

rush_11-2VP Joe Biden is in Upstate New York, campaigning for the Democratic candidate Bill Owens in the hotly-contested 23rd district congressional race today.

And after he went on the attack against Rush Limbaugh and specific GOP politicians, Limbaugh fired back even harder on his radio show just now.

“The idea that Rush Limbaugh would handpick [the] successor is kind of unusual,” said Biden at the Owens rally today, also attended by former GOP candidate Dede Scozzafava.

Well Rush was ready with a response. “How lucky am I to be attacked by Joe Biden?” he asked. “It’s Christmas every day for me. It’s Christmas every morning for me, that’s what my life is.

“Why don’t you grow up and reacquaint yourself with our constitution,” he continued. “I bet he thinks our founding fathers were absolutists, I’ll bet he thinks the American Revolution was unncessary, that instead the colonists should have negotiated some deal with the King.”

During Biden’s speech, he used Dick Armey’s involvement with the conservative candidate Doug Hoffman, who is now leading in some polls, as a jumping off point. “He’s a decent guy, but he represents a view so alien it seems to me to the pragmatism to the North Country. Sarah Palin, a former governor – her views are real and consistent with Army’s and Limbaugh’s and Dick Cheney’s…This is a different ideology. This is different than anything I’ve known in my 45 years of being familiar with this district. You know, they may not have any room for moderate views in the Republican Party upstate anymore, but let me assure you, we have room, we have room.”

Limbaugh closed out the segment, saying of Biden, “You’ve never had to earn an honest living, you’ve never participated in the market system, you don’t understand what makes this nation work and that’s why you pose a great threat.”

Needless to say, this little congressional race is becoming one of the biggest, if not the biggest, race in the entire country. We’ll have more on NY-23 later.

Limbaugh has never actually had to make an honest living either. And as far as the market system goes, except for prescription drugs, Limbaugh is pretty much uninformed and a non-participant.

He has the right to mouth off all he wants, but he is also one of the most thin skinned, cowardly and dishonest of all of the pundits. Anytime anyone dares disagree with Lord Rush, he declares them stupid and then starts into his “they are just picking on poor little me,” nonsense.

Cowards should either shut up or learn to take the fallout that comes with sensationalism. And Limbaugh is the reigning King of Cowards.

Keeva- Thanks for pointing out Rush’s Trust fund money, or is he now cashing his government check? I am all confused because his current line of work, seems to be a model of the free market system. he has a show, he employs people to produce his show. Seems like he is doing what All Americans should want to be doing. And seriously, all you can come up with is his prescription drug problem??? You know what, everyone screws up! get over it!!! And Here’s a newsflash, In America, everyone is allowed to voice an opinion (or at least that is how it used to work) and you listen to it, think about it, and choose your degree to which you agree or disagree. That is what makes America Great!

Good for Rush — he really knows how to tweak the libs and the media (ah, but I repeat myself).

Sarah had a good comeback to Biden’s attack on her as well.

Speaking of drug problems….wasn’t there a story about drugs and Biden’s daughter ….ah, never mind, it was one of those stories the media spiked given the party affiliation of Biden.

Rush is having a blast with all the attention he is getting and all the upsetedness he is causing with the libs and the media (ah, but I repeat myself).

Someone needs to start calling out these opinion-u-tainment personalities on their mis-use of The Constitution. They mention The Constitution with even less precision than they mention Socialism.

Keeva… I’m not going to debate what you said… partly because I agree with some of it, partly because it’s not the point. My question is, do you like anyone?! I’ve read your posts for a while now, and you don’t like the folks on the left, you don’t like the folks on the right, you’re not much of a fan of cable news or television (as far as I can tell)… so I want to know what it is that DO like. I’m not trying to be as snarky as I probably sound… but after poo-poo-ing in so many threads (much of which I’ve agreed with), I want to know more about what makes Keeva tick.

What, in this story, are you talking about… specifically?

The best comment I’ve ever read on Mediaite.

How can this administration (or any Liberal for that matter) take offense at the supposed ‘lack of civility’ they’re getting bludgeoned with? Eight years of dishing it out and now they whine and moan about the ‘unfairness’ of it all. Oh, 2010 will be fun.

Whyyyyyyy? What are you talking about? Give me a quote of Rush’s “misuse.”

“…wasn’t there a story about drugs and Biden’s daughter”

Nice try but weak at best. Did we talk about Limbaugh’s ’sex tourism’ yet, boys?

“Eight years of dishing it out and now they whine and moan about the ‘unfairness’ of it all.”

Bush and Cheney are self-admitted war criminals. See the difference?
And who’s moaning. I am joyous, The GOP is burying itself infront of our eyes. I just listened to some dipshit on CNN saying how if you are not far right you are a marxist and an enemy. Yeah, that’ll play well with the indies. Good luck with that approach, Whigs.

Homie, when you lie to try to make some weak-ass point that has zero to do with anything, you simply come across as a tard.

Oh, haven’t you heard? Bush is not longer the president. Lib chumps crack me up, the panic, the frustration. They had it all, they thought, now it’s our turn, they thought, hope, change, blah, blah. It’s all crashing down, and a moment like this presents itself once in a couple of lifetimes for you,

The trouble is for you guys, is that most regular people don’t buy into the leftist philosophy, and only inner cities produce successful radical leftist politicians. Look at the likes of Charlie Wrangle, or Sheila Jackson Lee, for instance. They wouldn’t have a snowball’s chance, because they have a record, and the rest of the country knows them. The Progressive radical left’s only chance was to come up with a smooth talker with a blank slate, and rush him through. When Americans started looking a little closer, (and losing their jobs) they realized that they’d come home with a crap sandwich rather than a Big Mac.

Biden says, “You know, they may not have any room for moderate views in the Republican Party upstate anymore…” and other liberal politicians and commentators keep using the word ‘moderate’ as if THEIR definition of ‘moderate’ is the correct one for the Republican party. Dede S. MODERATE? She’s proven just how far left she is socially and fiscally, and yet the libs keep telling us she’s exactly the kind kind of moderate that the Republican party should welcome with open arms. That sure would make the libs happy, no doubt. Luckily, she’s one of theirs now. The damage this admin has done in a short 10 months has opened a lot of eyes and complacency on the part of true moderates and true conservatives is becoming a thing of the past. About time!

  • ImNotBlue ImNotBlue says:

As Joe about Lieberman… and how many “moderates” are allowed in with the Democrats.

Then remind him that it’s the BLUE DOGs who are going to prevent Obama-care. It’s sometimes like Biden and the mainstream Liberals and media just don’t live in the real world anymore.

  • Nachi Nachi says:

Shucks now. What would this obese, slovenly, alcohol/drug-addicted pariah know about The Constitution??
But then – he IS teaching many other life-forms, isn’t he?? Another of Murcuh’s shining lights.

Obama’s Final Push On Health Care To Democratic Caucus On Capitol Hill

    video

President Barack Obama spoke in the conference hall of the Capitol today about the health care reform bill which is coming close to meeting enough votes to pass in the House of Representatives, which earlier today decided not use the "deem and pass" strategy to railroad the bill through Congress. "I know this is a tough vote for some of you," said our president, adding "Don't do it for Nancy Pelosi, or Harry Reid, or me. Do It for the American People." Pay attention folks, this speech is definitely one for the history books.
