Lost is finally over. There are two types of people: Those who watched the finale and said “Huh?” or those who watched the finale and sobbed uncontrollably. According to my Tweetdeck, the first can be found here, here, here, here and here; the second can be found here, here, here, here and here. If you’d like to understand what people are talking about — or at least pretend to keep up with the conversation — we have the last ten minutes of the finale, which you can watch ON THE NEXT PAGE – SPOILER ALERT SPOILER ALERT SPOILER ALERT. In the meantime, here’s Eric Deggans’ super-fast take, James Poniewozik’s review (and discussion thread) at Time.com, and the Wikipedia page for the series finale which conclusively proves that people love dropping everything to write Wikipedia pages.

>>>NEXT: Last ten minutes of Lost. SPOILER ALERT IF YOU HAVEN’T SEEN IT, OBVS.

That kind of ending has been done many times before. Most recently in the “Sixth Sense.”

    That’s original?

Great series. Great acting. Great actors. Great diversion. Thanks for the many nights of great entertainment.

“The End” is the best episode of television I believe I have ever seen. Incredibly moving and amazingly executed. I have no complaints. A series ends and people are pissed. Lost was one of the greatest series finale for one of the greatest shows ever. The Lost series finale was one of the most enthralling, entertaining and satisfying conclusions I could have hoped for.
