North Korean Newscaster Fights Back Tears As She Reads Report Of Kim Jong Il’s Death
Kim Jong ll died on Saturday at age 69 from apparent heart failure. And although many Americans associate him with villainy and the Axis of Evil (through efforts by both George W. Bush and Team America), he was beloved by many in his country as their “Dear Leader.” He also reportedly spread the myth that he could control the weather with his moods.
It’s somewhat understandable, then, that there would be grieving over the Supreme Leader. One of those affected was a North Korean newscaster, who fought back tears as she detailed his death. Watch the clip of her sobbing between words below, courtesy of the Associated Press:
