Pence Defends Trump Calling Obama ISIS ‘Founder,’ Avoids Saying It Himself
Mike Pence tonight defended Donald Trump‘s comment that President Obama founded ISIS as a brave show of political incorrectness.
A brave show that Pence refused to replicate.
Pence spoke with 9NEWS’ Brandon Rittiman over that comment from Trump. Trump’s VP pick insisted, “Everybody in this country knows exactly what Donald Trump means.”

He insisted that this is all about “Obama’s policies in the wider Middle East.”
Rittiman asked Pence if he too would say Obama founded ISIS. Pence again praised Trump for “tiptoe[ing] around the rules of political correctness” after twice tiptoeing himself.
