Upon reviewing the Certificate of Live Birth provided by President Obama today, I noticed the letter “R” in his first name, “BARAK” is faded compared to the other letters in his first and last name. Can you please investigate this? I now doubt the authenticity of this supposed “Certificate of Live Birth”. Could it be a fake, Mr. Trump? Why would that letter be faded out and the rest are bold and black?

Also, I notice the stamp “61 10641″ is slightly askew compared to the rest of the information on the form. Can you also look into this? In all fairness, it’s not hard to transfer from one college to another. It’s actually easier. Plus he’s Black so that helped. That’s not being racist, that’s just being honest. I don’t care about his grades.

He got into Harvard based on his LSAT, his GPA and because he was Black. That’s just how law school applications work. I’m looking into the whole law school thing now so I know a bit about the process. Once again, I don’t care about his grades. IF I would care about grades at all, it would only be his first semester as they say that’s the most important and hardest semester. It’s supposed to separate the good form the bad.

His classmates hire him to be the Editor. All schools tend to have a Law Review Board. I don’t have a problem with this appointment either. His qualifications would be based on his writing skills.

Unless there was a specific course that he took, he might not have a thesis. We’d have to know what course schedule he took, but from my understanding there are thesis-type courses in law school. I know with my masters program, I had a final survey plus report, but it wasn’t a thesis in the sense of “you pick a topic to comment on and then write about it”….some courses in undergrad. offer that, most don’t.

I’m only interested in, if possible, a few writings for historical sake. From my little understanding, most law classes, you’re arguing for or against legal cases. I don’t know if that would really touch on the issue that people are interested in. As I said, it would depend on his courses and the course descriptions.

That’s why I’ve given up this angle and would rather move to the actual fact of gas prices, etc..

Well, some of it could be as simple as arguing for or against a position. That’s not going to help because the teacher could give the person the position to write or argue against. I get where you’re coming from, but unless the teachers gave Obama leverage, you’re not going to really get a good “blueprint” for his own thoughts. As an attorney, you represent your client. Period. Sometimes, there’s moral dishonesty in that (there are schools that try to dissuade this), but at the end of the day, you don’t have to agree with your client, merely defend them. That’s where I’m coming from with it. It’s more “complex” than most would think.

That’s why people that think it’s easy to get into law school don’t know the half of it. Other than the MCAT or possibly the bar (I hear it’s tough), I don’t know of a harder exam. I’m currently studying for it myself and it’s rough. So I know that he had to have scored in the 170 out of 180 range (unless Harvard went to say 165 at that time – I don’t know the stats for that particular year). He did get in on merit, but he also got in (as do all people of non-Caucasian color) because of his race, because that’s how historically law school specifically works. It’s a system that I don’t agree with because I think both medical and legal fields should be dominated by people that are the best at their craft, not based on race.

I find it hard to believe it took Obama and the state of Hawaii almost 3+ years to get this released legally? He can send drones into Libya without congressional approval, but he can’t get his very own birth certificate without an “exception” whatever that means?

WC, I doubt his LSATs were the reason he got into HLS. And, for your information, your grades won’t count for much on law school apps- it’s almost ALL about your LSAT score, unless you have some pull. As I recall, the most prominent black lawyer in NYC (Percy somebody or other, who just died recently) was solicited to go to bat for Obama to get into HLS and did so, enthusiastically. Law Review selection is either based on grades (top 1L grades) OR as a write-on (purely subjective and can be based on “who” you are, so Obama may have gotten on because of affirmative action). At the time of Obama’s election as president of Law Review there was lots of upheaval at HLS because of protests over not having many/any? black tenured law professors, so affirmative action was permeating everything at HLS. Also, it’s a popularity contest, not NECESSARILY based on excellence of writing. No articles or notes are attributable to Obama that I know of.

Apparently, Obama sent his personal lawyer from Perkins Coie to Honolulu to pick up his birth certificate and bring it back. I find that a bit odd, but I can only hope that she wasn’t charging the taxpayers for her time and travel.
