SNL Digital Short: Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake And Andy Samberg Do A Three Way

video

When Andy Samberg and Justin Timberlake do musical parody, expectations are ridiculously high. Dick in a Box and Mother Lover are previous SNL shorts that were huge viral hits. So, how do they deal with the high expectations that typically kill a good joke? How about adding Lady Gaga for another parody of early 90′s smooth R&B-cum-Color Me Badd song satire.

Should have been much better than it was.

  • Tedderman

No it shouldn’t, you’re an idiot.

  • Tedderman

    No, you are.

  • Tedderman

Hey, where the hell is everybody?

  • Gasket

Not as good as motherlover or d*ck in a box.

    Tedderman:
I think the reason no one else has commented besides you is that they watched the “liqueurville” video first and decided not to suffer another one.
I don’t know why I was tempted to watch this one after that. Was the comedy edited out here? Again, thanks to Mediaite for reminding me why I quit watching SNL over a decade ago.

I like to wait till I watch it “live” on TV here on the best coast.

They incorporated Lady Gaga into the skit well, it wasn’t their best short but it worked.

    Agreed, but it was good…

Didn’t care for this video. I would have prefered that at least one of the people be a woman.

  • DaTruth

Oh come on…I don’t watch SNL any longer, either, but this was pretty creative. It definitely took some time to put together, too. Lighten up.

I liked Jizz in my Pants and Lazy Sunday better myself.

Boy, with the proper lighting and the right guy behind the camera the usual bag over Lady GaGa’s head is almost unnecessary………almost.

Another very solid ‘digital short’ by the duo. Gaga was very forgettable, but Justin and Adam made a bad joke work! Should have made Gaga more interesting somehow in the piece.

    Duh, GaGa being irrelevant . . . was ‘ the piece ‘.

I have always watched SNL but then came *GaGa*.. SHE is HORRIBLE.. My GOD, she can’t sing and her COSTUMES SUCK.. I don’t call that ENTERTAINMENT, but simply a DISEASTER.. If SNL keeps bringing stuff like that on, I won’t watch it anymore…

Egad everyone’s a critic. I thought they all were great , Justin, Andy and Lady Gaga, the referral to there should of been a woman there I figure refers to the rumor that “Lady Gaga” is a hermaphrodite. And yes she can sing. She can act somewhat too. I just thought it was a fun, enjoyable and yes hilarious skit.

    huh?

  • greg454

Is it Saturday Night Life or Musical Night Life? I want COMEDY, that clip wasn’t funny, it was stupid.

  • TucsonTerpFan

Ho, ho, ho…which one’s the ho?

  • Nature Is Freaky

I saw Color Me Badd in concert with my girlfriend in the very early 1990′s.

    I am still embarrassed.

  • Mankind716

I thought this was hilarious. I don’t see how you couldn’t at least appreciate the 90s parody if you lived during that time.
