Joe Scarborough went with a more casual summer look than usual during his appearance with Morning Joe co-host Mika Brzezinski on The View Tuesday morning, rocking some pink pants that caught everyone’s eye. He retold the story of how she told him he looked “a little gay” before going on set, a suggestion that the Republican pundit didn’t seem to mind.
“You look great,” Barbara Walters began, speaking to Brzezinski. She then turned to Scarborough and said, “The pink pants? You are a number.”
Describing his morning spent walking around the “progressive” Upper West Side of Manhattan, Scarborough said he was “kissing everybody, because that’s what you do” when Joy Behar came up to him and said, “You sure look gay in those pants.”
“I like them though,” Behar said in her defense. “I happen to like a gay look.”
“Maybe I do, too,” Scarborough replied.
“Not that there’s anything wrong with that,” Brzezinski added, helpfully, telling him she also thought he “looks good.”
Before moving on to more serious topics, Sherri Shepherd slipped in with, “You’re very sexy, Joe.”
