Watch Sen. Marco Rubio Save Nancy Reagan From Falling After Losing Her Balance
Sen. Marco Rubio was invited to speak at an event last night at the Reagan Library, where he spoke about the former president’s contributions to the nation and the modern conservative movement. But he also played a pivotal role in the safety of former First Lady Nancy Reagan, who he accompanied to her seat and helped stay on her feet as she lost her balance.
According to the Fox News report, Rubio gave his speech, spoke to members of the audience afterwards, and discussed later on television the rumors that he may end up on the bottom of the 2012 Republican ticket. But long before that, he helped Mrs. Reagan stay upright, with several other audience members, saving her from a fall that would’ve likely put her in the hospital. If the conservative infatuation with the Florida-based Republican wasn’t at its peak before, it’s hard to imagine something that would endear him more to them than literally sweeping in to save the wife of the greatest icon in the modern American right from imminent danger.
