Late Jeffrey Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre chronicled some of the most horrific details of her encounters with Epstein and Britain’s Prince Andrew in a posthumous memoir, which will be published this week.

Business Insider’s legal correspondent Jacob Shamsian posted a harrowing scene from the book, Nobody’s Girl, on Monday.

Giuffre was one of Epstein’s most well-known victims, as she took both Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell — as well as Prince Andrew, whom she has long accused of sexual abuse — to court. Giuffre killed herself in April, and President Donald Trump recently acknowledged that he was aware that Epstein “stole” her from his Mar-a-Lago club, where she was employed in the early 2000s. Shamsian shared his reporting on some of the more graphic details Giuffre wrote about:

In what Giuffre wrote was her final sexual encounter with the prince, she, Epstein, Prince Andrew, and “approximately eight other young girls” had an orgy on Epstein’s private island in the US Virgin Islands.

Not long after, Giuffre had “irregular bleeding” and one day woke up in Epstein’s Manhattan mansion “in a pool of blood,” she wrote in her memoir.

Giuffre wrote she spent several days at the hospital, where “Epstein took charge” and spoke to the doctors on her behalf.

Epstein told Giuffre she had a miscarriage, she wrote. But she said the medical records don’t contain that term and the procedure left an incision on her stomach. In the book, Giuffre questioned whether doctors removed an ectopic pregnancy, in which a fetus grows outside the uterus.

“After my hospital visit, I had to come to terms with the fact that I had gotten pregnant and lost a fetus without even knowing it was happening,” Giuffre wrote. “That made me feel even more numb. But there would be no time for grieving. In Maxwell and Epstein’s world, the party never stopped.”

Prince Andrew gave up his royal titles, including his claim to being the Duke of York and membership in the Order of the Garter, last week amid the ongoing fallout related to his association with Epstein.

Prince Andrew made the announcement on Friday, saying, “In discussion with the King, and my immediate and wider family, we have concluded the continued accusations about me distract from the work of His Majesty and the Royal Family. I have decided, as I always have, to put my duty to my family and country first. I stand by my decision five years ago to stand back from public life. With His Majesty’s agreement, we feel I must now go a step further. I will therefore no longer use my title or the honours which have been conferred upon me. As I have said previously, I vigorously deny the accusations against me.”
