JUST IN: Tate Brothers Hit With Major Loss in Court as UK Extradition Looms

A federal judge in Florida has denied “manosphere” influencer Andrew Tate’s bid for release as he and his brother Tristan fight extradition to the U.K. on rape and sex trafficking charges, ABC News reported on Wednesday.

The dual U.S.-British citizens will now have to remain in custody in Miami, where they’ve been since their arrest in late July, after British authorities sought their extradition to face 59 charges, including rape, assault, and sex trafficking.

Andrew Tate was previously charged in Romania in 2023 with rape, human trafficking, and forming an organized criminal group to sexually exploit women. The case did not advance to trial after a court found problems with the prosecution.

However, the brothers were charged in Romania with sex trafficking and money laundering in a new indictment last week.

Despite being fans of President Donald Trump, and having voiced support for the president during his 2024 presidential campaign, it does not appear that the president is intervening in the case.
