MAGA activist Laura Loomer shredded Heritage Foundation president Kevin Roberts on Friday after his controversial defense of Tucker Carlson’s interview with white nationalist Nick Fuentes.

In a series of posts on X, Loomer called Robert’s comments “outrageous,” referring to the head of the conservative think tank as a “total hypocrite” and “a liability for the GOP.”

“What @KevinRobertsTX needs to understand is you can respect someone’s right to free speech but also condemn them and their wicked behavior that is rooted in a desire to fracture the evangelical GOP base,” she wrote.

Loomer, a close advisor to President Donald Trump, also broadened her attacks to include The Heritage Foundation writ large. She predicted the downfall of the prominent right-wing think tank, the organization that penned Project 2025, the high-profile plan for Trump’s second term.

“Heritage is so done. No way they survive this,” wrote Loomer. “Donors are done.”

Loomer was one of many on the right who reacted with outrage to the Carlson Fuentes interview and Roberts’ defense of it.

A slew of angry Heritage Foundation staffers subtweeted a video of their bosses’ defense.

“NAZIS ARE BAD,” read the caption on a meme shared by Heritage research fellow Preston Brashers.

Senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY) also hit the organization over its defense of Carlson, writing on X that “conservatives should feel no obligation to carry water for antisemites.”
