WATCH: Fox Host Jeanine Pirro Shocked When Trump Official Appears to Reveal She’s Getting White House Job

Fox News host Judge Jeanine Pirro appeared on stage at Turning Point USA’s inauguration ball on Sunday night and was stunned when Sergio Gor, President Donald Trump’s incoming director of the Presidential Personnel Office, suggested she was soon joining the administration.

Gor pumped up the crowd at the ball, saying, “A big round of applause adorned the whole family. Nobody has sacrificed more than the Trump family. And tomorrow you’re going to see incredible things happen. Over 100 executive orders. We’re going to announce some amazing people. The great Kari Lake is in the house. She’s gonna clean up Voice of America.”

He then took Pirro’s hand, raised her arm, and said, “And very soon we have a big announcement for another big hire. We can’t mention names.” Pirro clearly mouthed “no, no” and appeared stunned at the remark. It was unclear if the remark was a joke or a serious comment.

“The great Mike Lee is here. He’s helping our nominees and our great FBI director. Who’s going to clean house!” Gor continued, before eventually handing the mic over to Pirro.

“I want to thank Charlie Kirk for bringing us all together, for having that vision and the idea that somebody had to stand up to make sure that we protected this nation and damn, we did. Thank you, Charlie. Thank you, Donald Trump. And God bless America,” said Pirro, making clear her close connection to the Trump administration.

Through a Fox News spokesperson, Pirro said Gor’s comments “were made in jest” and that “she will not be joining the administration.”

Pirro, a co-host on the top-rated show The Five, once had her own weekend show, which ended in 2022 and featured in the Dominion defamation lawsuit against Fox News over 2020 election claims.

Politico reported in 2018 that Trump considered Pirro for a job in his first administration.

Politico reported at the time, “Trump has dangled the possibility of giving her a top appointment.
During a November meeting in the Oval Office, the president raised the possibility of nominating Pirro to a federal judgeship, according to a former administration official, though this person added that Trump was more likely engaging in flattery than seriously considering putting Pirro on the bench.”

The report noted that Pirro, a former prosecutor and elected judge, had her sights on attorney general. “Two White House aides said they believe the president is not seriously considering bringing Pirro on to replace current Attorney General Jeff Sessions, despite Trump’s long-standing frustration with him,” the report added, however.

This story has been updated with statement from Fox News.
