Candace Owens Tells Tucker Carlson a Trump Aide Said She Had to Stop Talking About Brigitte Macron’s ‘Penis’ to End War in Ukraine
Candace Owens appeared on The Tucker Carlson Show on Friday, where she claimed that French President Emmanuel Macron had asked President Donald Trump to stop her from continuing to claim that French First Lady Brigitte Macron was born a man.
“Trump said he was very confused,” Owens told Tucker Carlson, when “the leader of France took him aside during negotiations for Ukraine and Russia to inquire about whether or not he knew Candace Owens.”
“Clearly it was an emergency,” she continued, saying she was messaged by a member of the Trump team back in February.
First, Owens claims, she was told that “somebody very close to the President of the United States is asking me to ask you to stop talking about Brigitte Macron’s penis.”
Carlson quipped that that was “the true face of diplomacy.”
She then went on to say that the unnamed Trump aide said her silence was “presented to him as a condition to ending the Russia-Ukraine war.”
News broke that Macron and his wife had filed a defamation suit against Owens earlier this month in the state of Delaware, alleging she used the claim that Brigitte was born “Jean-Michel Trogneux” to boost her following and profit from controversy.
Earlier this year, she published an eight-part series on her YouTube titled Becoming Brigitte, of which she says the Macrons and “their entire entourage” were viewers. She has since vowed to fight the suit in court.
