‘I Am Full MAGA Now,’ Hunter Biden’s Ex-Business Partner Tells Newsmax After Trump Pardon

Hunter Biden’s former business partner, Devon Archer, told Newsmax on Thursday that he was “full MAGA now” after his pardon from President Donald Trump.

Asked by Newsmax host Rob Schmitt about the presidential pardon last month, Archer recalled that Trump told him, “Listen, these guys screwed with you, they screwed with me, and I’m gonna put an end to this. I’m gonna put an end to this and at the end of the day, we’re gonna make this right.”

“You were a Biden guy for forever, you know?” noted Schmitt. “I don’t know much about your personal politics, it doesn’t really matter that much, I saw what they did to you, [but] you told New York Times recently in an interview that you’re full MAGA now, saying, ‘They’re more my people.’ Explain that.”

Archer replied, “I am full MAGA now but I was, you know, a Biden guy,” before delving into his background as a member of former Secretary of State John Kerry’s “kitchen cabinet.”

“I was encouraged by a candidate in 2004, which was a guy named John Kerry,” he said. “I was in his kitchen cabinet, it was personal. I was friends with his stepson, and I never registered as a Republican.”

But Archer later became a prominent face of the congressional probe into Hunter Biden, telling lawmakers that the first son was selling the “illusion of access” to his dad

When asked how he was feeling now that he had been pardoned by President Trump, Archer concluded, “If the government wants you, they’re gonna get you. We’re not messing around with the government anymore. We’re on the right side of history.”

Trump issued a “full and unconditional pardon” to Archer last month, claiming he was victimized by the Biden administration after he became a witness in the court case against Hunter Biden.

“Many people have asked me to do this,” said Trump. “I think he was treated very unfairly. And I looked at the record, studied the records, and he was. He was a victim of a crime, as far as I’m concerned. So we’re going to undo that.”

Trump secretary Will Scharf added that “the tone and tenor” of an ongoing fraud case against Archer “changed dramatically after he began to cooperate with investigators and serve as a witness against Hunter Biden and the Biden family.”
