James Carville Says ‘I’m Gonna Take El-Sayed Every Time’ Against ‘Clown’ Mike Rogers 

Democratic strategist unequivocally backed Dr. Abdul El-Sayed in the U.S. Senate race in Michigan.

Carville has been critical of several progressive candidates who won their Democratic primary challenges in recent weeks. El-Sayed, a former Michigan public health official, defeated Rep. Haley Stevens on Tuesday for the Democratic nomination. Stevens was the preferred candidate of the Democratic establishment and the beneficiary of more than $30 million in ad buys from the American Israel Public Affairs Committee in what was one of the most expensive Senate primaries in history.

During the campaign, El-Sayed campaigned with leftist Twitch streamer Hasan Piker, who has been a focus of Carville’s ire.

“The one thing I can tell you is for certain, Hasan Piker and James Carville are not going to be in the same political party. One of us is going to leave. It might even be me,” he told Fox News last week.

Carville joined Monday’s Piers Morgan Uncensored, where the host asked the political operative if he would word his remarks differently.

“…Would you reframe them if you had a chance of a do-over?” Piers Morgan asked.

“Reframe what?” Carville replied. “I mean, all these people do is sit around and talk about how no one talks about James Carville anymore. Well, if no one talks about me, why the hell are you talking about me?”

Later, Morgan followed up and asked, “Is really your position, you can’t be in the party with any of these guys?”

Carville responded by taking a shot at Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) after Sanders, an independent who caucuses with the Democrats, dared Carville to start his own party.

“Bernie Sanders and I are roughly the same age,” he said. “He’s a little bit older than me. Of Bernie Sanders and James Carville, there’s one that’s been a Democrat his entire adult life, and his name is not Bernie Sanders. So let’s dispense of that nonsense right now.”

Carville then pivoted to El-Sayed and his Republican opponent, former Rep. Mike Rogers:

Most of these [Democratic Socialists for America] types can’t stand the Democrats. In fact, El-Sayed himself has said the Democrats are as much of a problem as the Republicans, which I disagree with. But when I look at him and I look at Mike Rogers, who’s a lackey for the entire pharmaceutical industry, who is an election denier, then I’m gonna take El-Sayed every time. Would I take him in a vacuum? Probably not, but against a clown like Rogers, who is an election denier running for the United States in the year 2026, who has never at once opposed the interests of Big Pharma. Yeah, I’m gonna be for El-Sayed.
