Fox News Correspondent Lays Waste to Notion Biden’s Been Checked Out While at Beach: He’s Been ‘Anything BUT Off the Grid’

Conservative outlets have been up in arms about the fact that President Joe Biden spent the weekend at his beach house in Delaware. But a Fox News correspondent laid waste to the idea that the Commander-in-Chief is somehow off the clock.

During a brief live hit on The Big Weekend Show, Fox News correspondent Alexandra Hoff dispelled the notion that Biden spent his weekend merely lounging around on the beach.

“The President has been anything but off the grid while here in Delaware,” Hoff said, to kick off her report.

Hoff noted that in addition to multiple conversations with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Biden also spoke with the leaders of Germany, France, Italy, the UK and Canada — as well as Pope Francis.

The correspondent added that Biden took a call while walking on the beach with his wife.

“So the president’s line here in Delaware, again, was very busy today — even on that breezy beach walk we were just talking about,” Hoff said. “The president was on a cell phone during a portion of that.”
