Bryant Gumbel: ‘Few Things I Hate More’ than ‘Pigs’ at the NRA
Real Sports host Bryant Gumbel recently chatted with Rolling Stone and shared some pretty unfiltered thoughts about the “pigs” at the NRA. At the start of the interview, Gumbel talks about his pretty blunt approach to his job, preferring that to a “don’t offend anybody” approach.
And boy, did he deliver on that one.
At one point, Gumbel is asked about a segment he did on the “eat what you kill” movement. The philosophy is a simple one: only eat the animal meat you hunt and kill yourself. Shooting the animals obviously plays a part in that, and Gumbel shared some thoughts on the NRA for starters:
There are a few things I hate more than the NRA. I mean truly. I think they’re pigs. I think they don’t care about human life. I think they are a curse upon the American landscape. So we got that on the record.
The NRA has yet to… ahem… fire back.
