George W. Bush has always been a quirky guy. We knew that. He paints portraits of dogs now, remember?
Today’s display of quirk was a little more public than his painting, though:
George W. Bush was definitely enjoying “Battle Hymn of the Republic” a little more than others onstage in Dallas pic.twitter.com/c8lG7iAs5c

He was in Dallas to speak at an interfaith service to honor the officers who were killed in an attack last week. During the “Battle Hymn of the Republic” performance, he did a little dance.
Also in attendance were President Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle Obama, who was holding the former president’s hand as he marched and boogied in place.
Like anything even remotely political, this display has caused small fights and wild defenses on Twitter:

Good for him. Funerals are celebrations of life. He’s a resident of the metroplex and shouldn’t be criticized for mourning @maxwelltani

Okay, so what do you think? Is the dancing a celebration of a life or a show of tastelessness?
