How to Watch NFL on Thanksgiving — Chicago Bears vs. Detroit Lions Game Preview, Live Stream, and TV Channel
Thanksgiving Day football in Detroit. It’s a tradition which dates back to 1945. And this year, the tradition continues with the Lions welcoming in one of their chief rivals — the Chicago Bears. The game is available online via streaming service FuboTV.
The Bears come in at 7-3, having just posted a huge victory over NFC North division foe Minnesota. The game was something of an acid test for the Bears — who had been feasting on lesser opponents like Tampa Bay, Buffalo, and Arizona. But their win over the Vikings proved they are for real. Quarterback Mitch Trubisky and running back Jordan Howard are leading a potent offensive attack — at least by Bears standards. And Khalil Mack has completely transformed the Chicago defense into one of the best in the league. They have a comfortable lead in the standings, and appear to be well on their way to an NFC North crown.
The Lions need a Thanksgiving miracle to get back in the division race. At 4-6, they currently stand three games behind Chicago with just six left to play. But the Lions are not without talent. As long as quarterback Matthew Stafford is behind center, Detroit always has a chance.
But Detroit’s ineptitude doesn’t really matter. It’s Thanksgiving. It’s the Lions. It’s a must-watch.
Kickoff is at 12:30 p.m. ET. You can watch the game online on FuboTV here.
