Represented by none other than celebrity attorney Gloria Allred, the elderly woman is expected to join several of her female colleagues by coming forward on Thursday afternoon and discuss what she describes as “continuous inappropriate sexual advances” from the mayor while she worked at City Hall.
The unidentified woman currently works at the Senior Citizens Service desk in San Diego’s City Hall. She and Allred are scheduled to speak at a news conference at 4 p.m. EST today. It is unknown whether she intends to file suit against the embattled mayor.
In addition to the great-grandmother’s accusations, a local attorney named Kathryn Vaughn has accused FIlner of sexual harassment on Thursday. She told CBS that the mayor “made an inappropriate movement on my body” at a public event a decade ago.
As POLITICO notes, these two allegations bring the tally of women accusing Filner of sexual harassment to at least 15.
