R. Kelly Walks Off HuffPost Live Interview After Questioned About Rape Allegations

During a strange interview on HuffPost Live, R & B singer R. Kelly questioned host Caroline Modarressy-Tehrani‘s intelligence, repeatedly asked if she drank, and eventually walked off set after complaining that her line of questioning was too “negative.”

Modarressy-Tehrani asked R. Kelly to address fans who are torn between liking R. Kelly’s music and acknowledging the sexual allegations levied against him.

“I say F*ck that,” R. Kelly responded, later adding “you can’t satisfy everybody.”

Modarressy-Tehrani then asked the R&B star about his sex-saturated lyrics, asking if he has a healthy relationship with sex. “I did not come here to get interrogated. I did not come here for a deposition,” R. Kelly said before asking Modarressy-Tehrani if she knows “what a deposition is?”

As Modarressy-Tehrani attempted to defend her line of questioning, R. Kelly continued to insult her, saying “if you don’t think you’re disrespecting me, then that’s just like I say the level of your intelligence, not mine.”

To illustrate Modarressy-Tehrani’s “negative” line of questioning, R. Kelly asked the host about her drinking habits. “Do you drink? Do you get drunk? Do you fall all over and not know where you’re at?” the singer asked.

R. Kelly then gave the host “one more question” adding if it wasn’t positive he would walk off the stage.

“What do you say to the multiple fans, the many fans who are watching and listening that say there have been multiple accusations against you against young women in Chicago and they are concerned about your past and that’s impacting them from purchasing your music?” Modarressy-Tehrani asked as R. Kelly attempted to interrupt her.

“I love them all, and I love you too,” the singer said, removing his mic.

“You don’t need to give me any of your love, sir,” the host replied as R. Kelly gets up to leave.
