White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders says the Donald Trump administration denounces the “attempted violent attacks” that were made today against the Clinton family and former president Barack Obama.
Secret Service and local law enforcement intervened today when Obama and the Clintons both received suspicious packages in the mail which contained explosive devices. When asked for comment, Sanders released this statement on the “despicable” acts and promised that “these cowards” responsible will be held accountable.

“We condemn the attempted violent attacks recently made against President Obama, President Clinton, Secretary Clinton, and other public figures. These terrorizing acts are despicable, and anyone responsible will be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law.”
The situation with the Clintons and Obama come shortly after a reported pipe bomb was found in George Soros’ mailbox. Further reports indicate that the White House also received a suspicious package today, and CNN had to evacuate their New York studios after another alarming package was found at Time Warner Center.
UPDATE: Fox News’ John Roberts says the White House package situation was a false alarm.
