Sen. Feinstein, When Asked About Getting Trump Out: ‘I Think He Is Going to Get Himself Out’

Lest you think it’s only Republicans feeling the heat over town halls, Democratic Senator Dianne Feinstein was confronted outside the site of a fundraiser today about why she hasn’t been holding town halls with constituents.

L.A. Times reporter Javier Panzar captured video on the scene. People asked her questions about resisting the Trump agenda and his nominees, with people encouraging her to specifically “take a stand” on Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch.

Feinstein said today she’ll commit to doing a town hall, although she didn’t give a date. This isn’t the first time this year protesters have confronted her on this issue.

One person brought up Feinstein’s reaction following a meeting Wednesday with FBI Director James Comey and asked her, “How are we gonna get [Trump] out?”

Others there said “impeach,” but Feinstein said, “I think he’s gonna get himself out.”
