Trump Goes After Harley-Davidson Again: ‘I’ve Done So Much for You, and Then This’
Harley-Davidson is moving some production overseas in response to President Trump‘s actions on trade, and as a result they’ve become the latest target of the Tweeter-in-Chief’s ire.
The latest salvo from Trump contains more threatening and ominous language:
Harley-Davidson should stay 100% in America, with the people that got you your success. I’ve done so much for you, and then this. Other companies are coming back where they belong! We won’t forget, and neither will your customers or your now very HAPPY competitors!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 27, 2018
NPR reported that there are people at the company with misgivings about Trump’s policy, “but all of the workers we talked to thought Trump is doing the right thing.”
But the threatening language in today’s tweet wasn’t lost on people:

The phrase "I’ve done so much for you, and then this" is rarely spoken by good people. https://t.co/KNArN6cYl9
