Ashley Biden Fumes Over ‘Damn Disrespectful’ Book About Her Father’s Cognitive Decline: ‘Get Lost’ With Your ‘Fake News!’

Ashley Biden, daughter of former President Joe Biden, issued a fiery response Monday to a new book alleging her father is in cognitive decline, calling the claims “damn disrespectful” and “fake news” on social media.
In a lengthy Instagram message, Ashley Biden condemned the portrayal of her father in Original Sin, the recently released tell-all book co-authored by CNN anchor Jake Tapper and Axios reporter Alex Thompson.
Although she did not name the authors directly, she accused them of relying on anonymous sources and spreading false narratives about her father’s health and legacy.
“The ONLY coverup of this family is a BEACH coverup!” she wrote. “The truth is, Dad gave his ALL to America and continues til this day… The noise is so DAMN disrespectful and untrue.”

Ashley Biden praised her father’s work ethic, stating that he “worked harder than anyone I have ever known” and took his “sacred obligation to this country very seriously.”
She also addressed the aging process, acknowledging that “he aged, YES! As we all do!” but claimed he remained capable throughout his term in the White House.
Original Sin includes accounts from and former Biden administration officials and allies who describe moments of confusion and concern about Biden’s cognitive abilities.
The book also alleges that White House staff began limiting Biden’s public engagements and sought to minimize his exposure to unpredictable situations.
Ashley Biden rejected those claims as politically motivated and damaging. She asked her followers to focus on her father’s legacy of action and perseverance, not the media “static” that she says seeks to undermine it.
“Get lost with your anonymous sources and fake news,” she wrote, telling commenters that she would block anyone who posted disrespectfully on her page.
She closed the post by thanking supporters and emphasizing her family’s commitment to “hope.”
“That’s what Dad taught + gave us,” she wrote.
