‘Wrong, You Dipsh*t’: Trump and Biden Campaigns Trade Barbs on Social Media

Biden Aide Says If Trump 'Triggered' By Loser Taunts That's Trump's Problem

The campaigns of President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump clashed in a social media dustup in which an old post from @dril made an appearance.

On Monday, the Biden-Harris HQ account on X, formerly Twitter, tweeted a video of Trump outside a Manhattan courthouse on Monday morning. An appellate court lowered the bond amount Trump must post to appeal a $454 million civil fraud judgment against him. The court also extended the posting deadline 10 days from the original date of March 25.

A reporter asked the former president if he would “accept money from a foreign government to pay the bond,” which is $175 million.

“No, I don’t do that,” Trump replied. “I think you’d be allowed to, possibly. I don’t know. I mean, if you go borrow from a big bank, many of the banks are outside of this– as you know, the biggest banks frankly are outside of our country. So, you could do that, but I don’t need to borrow money. I have a lot of money. I have a lot of– I built a great company.”

Biden-Harris HQ posted the remarks and wrote, “Trump insists he’s ‘allowed’ to take foreign money to pay his bond.”

That prompted a rebuke from the official war room of the Trump campaign.

“Wrong, you dipshit. He said he’ll pay with cash, securities, or bonds,” the account wrote. “Unlike Crooked Joe who is bought and paid for by the CPP.”

Trump and other Republicans have alleged that Biden received ill-gotten gains from the overseas business ventures of his son Hunter Biden, though they have not provided proof of this claim.

In response, Biden-Harris HQ quote-tweeted the Trump War Room along with a decade-old tweet from epic poster @dril, who in 2014 wrote, “and another thing: i’m not mad. please dont put in the newspaper that i got mad.”
