Ex-Trump Ally Omarosa Claims Former Boss Is ‘Particularly Angry’ an ‘African American Woman’ Is Holding Him Accountable

Former Donald Trump ally Omarosa Manigault Newman claimed her ex-boss is “particularly angry” over prosecutors of color targeting him, including New York Attorney General Letitia James.

Omarosa, who briefly served in Trump’s administration, joined CNN’s Abby Phillip on Monday and claimed her former boss is broke and triggered that he’s being targeted in court by Black women like James and Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis.

“Anytime Donald is being held accountable for his bad behavior, he is going to be unhappy, but he is particularly angry about the fact that he is being held accountable, not just by a woman, but by an African American woman,” Omarosa said, referring to the James case where Trump revealed in a court filing that he cannot secure a bond for a $464 million civil fraud judgement.

In a Truth Social post on Monday, Trump accused James of being “racist” and “politically corrupt.”

Omarosa theorized on Monday that Trump’s recent controversial “bloodbath” comment that’s led to another feud between him and much of the media was a purposeful distraction to steal headlines away from the fact that he cannot secure a bond.

She said:

I mean, all of these cases are by African Americans who were strong enough, bold enough, and who are willing to put themselves out there to bring Trump to justice. This is really probably taking him up and I think one of the things I want to point out to you is that Donald Trump is also very strategic about what he does. He knew over the weekend, probably as far back as last week, that he could not get a surety company to extend his bond so what does he do? He creates a distraction by using insightful words, bloodbath, calling immigrants animals. He knew what he was going to do and he knew that it would drive the news cycle. He wanted to distract from the fact that he was rejected, not just wants not just once, not five times, not ten times, but by 30 different companies who are not willing to do business with Donald Trump.

Omarosa has been a vocal Trump critic in recent years, but was once a close associate. After making a name for herself on The Apprentice, Omarosa would go on to headline her own reality series dating series spinoff called Donald J. Trump Presents: The Ultimate Merger.
