Megyn Kelly Joins Trump Onstage at Pennsylvania Rally: ‘He Will Be a Protector of Women!’

Megyn Kelly, whose interrogation of Donald Trump in August 2015 during a Fox News GOP primary debate became a sensation, urged Pennsylvanians to vote for him Monday night at his rally in Pittsburgh.

Kelly announced earlier in the day she would join the former president on the stump while addressing her show’s listeners.

“I have all sorts of reasons that won’t come as any surprise to the people listening to this show,” Kelly told her audience.

In Pittsburgh, the former Fox News anchor joined Trump onstage and said she had voted early for him because of immigration, transgender issues, and because she said he would stand up for working people.

Kelly also made note of controversial comments Trump made last week when he said he would protect women “whether they like it or not.” Kelly championed him as a “protector of women.”

“Let me tell you, first of all, one of the reasons why I wanted to come here, one of the many reasons I wanted to come here,” she said before taking a shot at Mark Cuban over controversial comments he made last week about Trump not being surrounded by intelligent women.

“I really enjoy this feeling of proving Mark Cuban wrong!” Kelly said.

The radio host then recited the names of American women who have been killed by migrants in recent years. Kelly also slammed transgender women in sports and women’s bathrooms before saying Trump would keep women safe.

“He got mocked by the left for saying he would be a protector of women,” she said. “He will be a protector of women! And it’s why I’m voting for him! He will close the border! He will keep the boys out of girls’ sports and where they don’t belong!”

Kelly closed by slamming the left for targeting “masculinity” and hugged Trump after her remarks.
