‘You Can’t Cancel Me!’ Financial Guru Dave Ramsey Dares Audience to Bail On Him Over Trump Support

Finance guru Dave Ramsey dared members of his audience to quit watching him if they were displeased with his endorsement of former President Donald Trump over Vice President Kamala Harris.

While Ramsey did say he believed Trump was not the best option for voters in next month’s election, he defiantly declared he believed the GOP nominee would be better for the country than Harris.

Ramsey first explained that he decided to support Trump’s third White House bid as the former president checked “more boxes” for him than Harris.

“I suggest you hold your nose and you vote,” he said. “There’s something I disagree with and I’m going to vote anyway that’s how I made the decision to vote for Trump. Was the boxes that were checked.” Ramsey added:

If you want to vote the other way, as long you’re being thoughtful about it and you’re being a nice person, we’re still friends. I’m okay with you. I’m not mad at you. Some of you are never gonna listen to me again after this. That’s okay, I can deal with that. That’s happened to me for 30 years.

People have threatened me with, “I’m going to cancel you.” That’s hard to do. I own the show, and so you’re not gonna get to cancel me. So you can leave, but you can’t cancel me.

Ramsey concluded that he saw every election as about voting for the better of two bad candidates and that he believed too many voters are looking for a “savior” at the ballot box.

“None of them are going to be 100 percent of what I want them to be,” he said. “On personal character, in personality style, in history, and even where they stand on the issues. None of them are 100 percent of exactly who I want them to be.
