WHOOPS: Top House Republican Appears To Refer to ‘President C*nt’ at Fancy Dinner

House Majority Whip Tom Emmer (R-MN) had quite a verbal slip when he name-checked President Donald Trump during a speech at a swanky gathering of Republicans on Tuesday night.

Emmer delivered remarks at the National Republican Congressional Committee’s annual dinner in Washington, D.C. The lawmaker began his speech by yelling for some reason.

“Hello, fellow Republicans,” he bellowed before stumbling over his words. “NO! HELLO FEBR– FEH– FELLOW REPUBLICANS! WHERE ARE YA? I know this is the uh, this is the cheap time. You get to hear from me. Then, you’re gonna get energy outta, STEVE SCALISE! And you’re gonna get some energy out of our speaker, Mike Johnson! But guess what! The show is Donald J. Trump. So get ready.”

Later in his speech, Emmer referenced Trump again, though this time less cleanly.

“President cunt– Trump is counting on us!” he declared in the judgment of this observer.
