Golfer Max Homa Rips Into Course Marshal After Hitting Him With Ball at The Masters: ‘Come On, Dude!’

Golfer Max Homa lost it after his ball hit a course marshal during a heated moment in The Masters tournament.

The tense turn-of-events came on the eighth hole as Homa lined up a shot behind a tree to get back on the fairway, according to Golf Week.

The ball did hit the fairway, but then struck a flag-carrying marshal, who had his back to Homa and apparently didn’t see the ball coming.

“Come on, dude!” Homa shouted as the marshal appeared unbothered.

2025 has been a rough year for Homa, a six-time PGA Tour winner who is in the middle of a major slump.

The Masters is also Homa’s first tournament without his longtime friend and caddie Joe Greiner, who split from each other ahead of the Augusta event.

“It was not my choice, so it sucked, but we always had a deal that we’re friends first and friendship mattered more than the work thing, and he was wise enough to do what he did,” Homa told the Associated Press this week. “It’s hard. I’m just so used to him caddying.”
