‘Shame on You!’: CNN Panel Gets Heated Over Minorities’ Fears of Trump

cnn-angela-ryeA CNN panel got pretty heated this afternoon when Angela Rye clashed with two Donald Trump supporters over the fears many minorities have over a Trump presidency.

Paris Dennard, who said he’s gotten lots of hate as a black Trump supporter, said that of course there’s fear out there, but it’s the left ratcheting up that unjustified fear.

Rye shot back that this is about Trump’s own words and rhetoric and his history of discrimination and other things like the Central Park 5.

She then turned to fellow panelist Steve Cortes and scolded him for dismissing the fears of a young woman about Trump cracking down on immigration, saying, “Shame on you for invalidating this young woman’s feelings, real fears about what means to be undocumented!”

Cortes shot back, “If you are here illegally, you are illegal, okay?”

Dennard scolded Tim Kaine for engaging in disturbing rhetoric when he said Trump represents “KKK values.” Rye pointed out that the KKK and David Duke were very strongly behind Trump.
