SNL Mocks Clint Eastwood’s RNC Speech With Hilarious Comedy Ad

Saturday Night Live took a hilarious shot at actor Clint Eastwood‘s legendary/awful (depending on who you are) speech at last month’s Republican National Convention with a fake ad for a “Clint Eastwood and Chair” comedy tour.

Cast-member Bill Hader played a high-waisted pants-donning Eastwood who following the success of his RNC speech went on a comedy tour with just him and the chair occupied by invisible President Barack Obama.

Hader growled and traded barbs with an empty chair during a fake commercial for “two hours of high-waisted hijinx.” The tour also featured “no script, no set tour dates, no predetermined theaters.”

Glowing testimonials were delivered by cast-members like Bobby Moynihan who said, “I loved it all! Even the middle 45 minutes where it was just the chair on-stage while Clint stood in the back and ate a whole rotisserie chicken,” and Vanessa Bayer and newcomer Tim Robinson gave the comedy tour “two pants up!”
