Hey, Rachel, I wish you would have asked Roth if he or the equally bloodthirsty Tarentino had a motion picture in the works in which Islamic extremists (who, unlike Nazis, are a current threat) get the brutal Basterds treatment. It would have been interesting to see the way Mr. Macho Dismemberment weaseled his way out of answering questions about Muslim terrorists, the way most showbiz people have (yellow-bellied 2012 director Roland Emmerich being a rare exception).

Don’t you think that would have been an interesting, challenging query, Rachel? Don’t you think it’s strange than in a time of war, Follywood wasted money and goodwill making a string of antiwar pictures that cast American soldiers or leadership as the villain(s), rather than something as thrilling and uplifting as, say, Mrs. Miniver, portraying one family’s life in England under the constant threat of Luftwaffe invasion?

Instead, you asked the cowardly, pathetic “O’Reilly or Beck?” question, knowing good and well Roth’s answer would be “torture porn” for people who despise either person. I’m disappointed, but I can’t honestly say that I’m surprised.

Rachel, jsyk: Roth’s “Cabin Fever” DVD actually has a special feature that appears to be made for you. Check it out, and before you watch, apply the “Chick Vision” setting. Right as the gory parts are about to come on, giant grey hand outlines will slowly (and hilariously) come up to partially cover the action for you.

Alvie Singer doesnt realize print media is being killed by the internets, not lack of fact checking. He is a smart guy though, funny too and did you notice how long his eyelashes are? Yeah, I went there, how could I not?

@LittleBit – I am going to watch “Cabin Fever” as my Roth movie of choice bc he wrote it with a guy I went to high school with, Randy Pearlstein. I am betting it will be my Gateway Drug to his films, since I couldn’t help enjoying the campiness of the Thanksgiving trailer. I do think I will enjoy that “Chick Vision” feature though.
