Sounds reasonable, if a little filled with platitudes. Now we’ll see what the GOP in the house are actually willing to do to make things better.

Boehner usually strikes me as a ‘typical politician’. In his speech and tears, he finally struck me as someone who might lead responsibly. I’d like to see more people feel the weight of the responsibility, we are all blessed to be Americans. American exceptionalism is both a responsibility and a blessing.

Boehner’s speech, Rubio’s speech and Ferraro and Palin’s mutual respect dialogue were great election coverage moments last night.

There are 25 million unemployed Americans that are just trying to survive this Recession let alone pursue the “American Dream” because of a Republican “Big Idea” from the early 1990′s:
