Lol, not surprising, Glenn simply throws words on a board like that makes it true. This man is a fear monster.

Glenn Beck seems to be spelling something right, like the word SUCCESS. You can’t argue that millions of people are tuning in and hearing his message. You may fault his spelling (F. Scott Fitzgerald couldn’t spell either), but you can’t fault his enthusiasm for America and the Constitution. Today’s headline on Drudge spells out everything quite correctly: “BILL WOULD GIVE OBAMA ‘EMERGENCY’ CONTROL OF INTERNET.”

So basically this is a web site about Glen Beck???

So Beck is a poor speller, Obama doesn’t seem to have a clue about the geography of the US and he is supposedly the president. Which is worse?

@schmoovemoves, Of course it is! Posts about Glen have been getting a lot of hits and that fact isn’t lost on Steve and everyone else at Mediaite. Anything to get people to tune in and click on.

I wouldn’t say we cover Glenn Beck because it’s what is “getting a lot of hits.”

We do it because this site covers the media, and love him or hate him, Beck is a major player now. More so than ever.

It is precisely because he is so polarizing that he has become the powerful media figure that he is.

@Steve, I wasn’t meaning to single out Mediaite. Everywhere posts about Glenn get a lot of hits.

You are right he is a “major player now.” Sometimes Glenn makes a good point and other times it is like watching a slow car crash. Either way there is no doubt about it, he is entertaining.

Other people, like Olbermann and Maddow, and even Anderson at times, are polarizing as well, but they don’t draw nearly the same numbers as Glenn does. He seems to have the right formula for, as JimW. said, “SUCCESS” and everyone is eager to jump on that bandwagon including the Internet blogs.

Steve: You will definitely have to do an update to this story. Beck thanked the liberal bloggers for catching his error and reminding the viewers:

Fox News apparently has a hands off policy with Glenn Beck. Why should they let someone educated, a producer or a writer, interfere with Glenn Beck’s natural appeal to his followers.

Beck’s audience doesn’t even know the meaning of the word ‘oligarchy’, let alone how to spell it. I doubt if Beck himself really knows the meaning even though he works for the Oligarchy.

Not that he doesn’t truly love guns or hate blacks in the White House, not that he wouldn’t actually like to see civil war and blood running in the streets of America, but mostly it’s the money he gets paid to keep his pupils ignorant, roused up and voting for the Oligarchy’s favorite party.
