President Obama’s Friend Bobby Titcomb Arrested In Hawaii Prostitution Sting

Bobby Titcomb, a friend of Barack Obama‘s since his Punahou School days, has been arrested along with three other men in a Hawaiian prostitution sting after having solicited the services of an escort through a fake website. He has since been released on a $500 bail.

HONOLULU — The Honolulu Police Department confirmed that a close friend of President Barack Obama was arrested Monday in connection with a prostitution sting case.

Police arrested Bobby Titcomb, 49, a Punahou School classmate of Obama, at 9:40 p.m. in downtown Honolulu at the corner of Pohukaina and South streets. He was released after posting $500 bail, police said.

Police arrested four men in connection with a reverse prostitution sting involving a fake online female escort website, sources said.

The offense is considered a misdemeanor. Titcomb’s initial court appearance is scheduled May 2.

From the AP:

The 49-year-old Titcomb attended Punahou School in Honolulu with Obama. The two often golf, play basketball, go to the beach and dine together when the president returns home to Hawaii for vacation.

Titcomb has attended several events with his longtime friend:

Titcomb usually spends the holidays with the president and his family when they spend time in Hawaii. He has been seen playing golf and attending picnics with the president.

The first family attended a barbecue at Ticomb’s Waialua home in December.

I realize we shouldn’t necessarily be judged by the actions of our friends BUT it does say something about us and our decisions when we actively pursue and cultivate relationships and who we choose to spend time with. This is clearly a very close friend and it will be very embarrassing for the Pres. but people should keep it in perspective.

Actually he was factually correct, except he was not caught with a prostitute, but was a client of a call girl service. Even in Louisianna call girls are prostitutes. He apologized for….something….but was not specific…which in Louisianna means, “aw shucks, the ol’ lady won’t touch me on a dare, so what’s a man to do?”
