Woody Johnson Reflects On Death Of His Daughter, Casey Johnson
New York Jets owner Woody Johnson returned as a guest host on FBN’s America’s Nightly Scoreboard to talk business, football and more.
But he also discussed the death of his daughter, Casey Johnson, for the first time, who died suddenly in January at the age of 30.
There was initial confusion about the cause of Johnson’s death, who was Tila Tequila‘s girlfriend at the time. Diabetes was later determined to be the cause.
“I think they’re holding up,” said Johnson on FBN of how his family is dealing with the death. “But I think it’s been a severe blow for sure to everybody, her sisters, her mother, me as well and her friends. It’s one of those things that came out of the blue.”
It’s a sad story – made only more sad by the circumstances directly before her death. “She had been estranged from her parents and because they had recently cut off her support she had to move out of her home,” the autopsy investigator said.
