Still wondering whether the White House’s decision to publicly attack Fox News was a bad idea? You need look no further than Glenn Beck and his “Mao Hotline.” Beck is so clearly thrilled to be White House Public Enemy Number One he appears to be having problems fitting everything he wants to say on the subject into one hour. Which is fine since this will probably be the focus of his show for the foreseeable future.

In the clip below from today’s opener, Beck focuses on the press, the supposed “watchdogs of our republic, being brutally and viciously abused,” by the White House and thanks Jake Tapper for being the only reporter (dog?) willing to call the White House out on their decision to single out Fox (we reported on this earlier). The rest of the press it would seem, is the equivalent of the tiny, shivering Chihuahua in the pink collar Beck holds on his lap during his monologue. Also, apparently we’ll have to wait till tomorrow to find out what’s behind the blue curtain.

The rest of the media are Obamas best friend. They voted for him. They lick /kiss his butt. They carry his load for him like a pack team. And all of them are neutered!

HIs opening was priceless with the little shivering puppy! He really knows how to tweak the media. That only Tapper brought it up with Gibbs tells alot about the other little puppies like Chuck Todd. Conservative free speech is NOT approved by the WH.

Of course, Olbermann and Maddow are their fav commentators because they truly are the little puppies, licking his shoes and panting at his every word and move. The WH also knows it can always count on Anderson Cooper, Campbell Brown, Larry and Wolf to do it’s bidding as well.

It’s only conservative opinion that is frowned upon.

Glenn Beck scored another triumph over the ignoramus’s in the White House today. The little shivering lap dog, whose name is “Press,” represents ALL the Leftist Lapdogs in the Fringe Media (previously known as the MSM.) The only White House Press Corp members with cojones are Jake Tapper and Major Garrett. Oh, wait a minute, you can include Helen Thomas in that group. She had the ‘nads to take on the Minister of Propaganda, Robert Fibbs, over the White House’s lack of “transparency.” Glenn Beck is making fools of this Administration every single day, and he takes great delight in doing so. Keep up the good work, Glenn! We are watching!! :)

There’s got to be an awful lot of angst in the MSM…not just network TV, but also the weekly magazines and major daily newspapers. Do they stick to their ‘water-carrying’ ways and prove Beck right, or do they decide to challenge Obama more than they have in order to earn back some lost respect? There will be more of the former than the latter, but we will thankfully see some leave the reservation d’Obama.

does this guys ever think that he just MIGHT be acting like a complete and utter imbecile? he is seriously a comedian that isnt funny and never makes any sense. if this moron had a stand up routine, he would get booed of stage, censured from existence and get forks thrown at his big fat head. as more and more days go on, i continue to feel sorry for him and his desperation to get ratings and be a clown.

Gee Glenn, maybe the reason no one is challenging the assertion that FOX News isn’t a news organization is because….well…uhh…because it’s NOT a news organization! The Daily Show is not a news broadcast, Bill Mahar and Stephen Colbert are not reporters, and FOX News (which broadcasts bombast, graphics, shouting matches and flashing lights 24 hrs a day) is not a news organization. FOX is to news, as WWE is to sport.

Why does Beck’s entertaining circus show mean that Fox is not a news organization? A news organization, is, by definition, a group of people who gather and disseminate news (i.e. factual accounts of current events). You may not like Fox’s story selection, but where is your proof (and be specific) that its news reports are intentionally and consistently inaccurate?

I think you’re a cowardly fraud, Bob, but I can promise you my opinion would never show up in a Fox News story. However, if I posted my opinion on Wikipedia, there’s a good chance it might be cited as fact on MSNBC and CNN.

1. Fox News is a legitimate news organization.
