Jim Cramer: President Obama Is ‘Hated Like Jimmy Carter’ By Business Leaders

video

CNBC’s Jim Cramer reported Friday morning on Squawk on the Street that he’s hearing from business leaders off-camera that Obama is hated by business leaders. “The disdain is off the charts! This guy, he is hated like Jimmy Carter!”

Cramer’s candid insight came after news from anchor Melissa Lee that there was a sadness about the economy from many traders and about how The Conference Board said there was a 45% chance of the US going into recession. “They say that since 1988, every time that The Conference Board predicted the chances were higher than 40%, we soon went into a downturn. I just throw that out there in the context of it looks like the support for the American Jobs Act is unraveling a bit from both sides of the aisle for that matter. Could the writing be on the wall for President Obama’s presidency?”

“Let’s take The Conference Board at face value. Let’s say that’s right,” Cramer responded, “I mean, look, you don’t understand, when you are off-camera, I mean — the disdain for this guy! I often find myself saying like Trump did: ‘Come on, it is America. He’s our President. Support him.’ The disdain is off the charts! This guy is just hated. Okay. He is hated like Jimmy Carter!”

With the President’s polling numbers at record lows, Cramer’s bleak assessment will most definitely encourage conservatives that Obama is vulnerable for reelection in 2012. However, with Intrade astonishingly predicting Obama’s reelection chances at higher than 51%, if this is rock bottom, things can only get better for him.

lol…………teflon president……let’s see if Obama can be reelected with all this!

If the repubs lose 2012….we all have to agree that they are useless!

“The disdain is off the charts! This guy, he is hated like Jimmy Carter!”

    Thanks Captain Obvious!

  • http://twitter.com/Good_Lt Good Lt.

    Can’t imagine why.

This President has made all the right moves for businesses. Every one of them a stroke of brilliance.

Cramer’s just a racist. Or possibly a teaterrorist.

  • Michelle

What do you expect when he has done everything in his power to destroy business?

  • TruDat

He’s hated by more than just business owners.

Cramer, why limit it to business leaders?

Finally people are starting to understand that Obama is the problem!!
Employers are not going to hire while he is in the WH.
They simply do not trust him!

Vote Obama out of office and watch the economy start to come back!!

  • Anonymous

We already know you are useless NOW, Rubeboy!

  • Anonymous

Why does CNBC hire racists like Jim Cramer?

  • Anonymous

Obama said he is not responsible for not turning the economy around because he inherited this economy. What a leader!

  • Valkyrie101

I think you may be right, if for no other reason than that the republicans would stop trying to kill our economy.

  • Anonymous

Come on Cramer, the Marxist hated by more than just business leaders.

I’m a business owner (which I guess makes me a leader); we hate him too!

  • Anonymous

Calm down! Can we be friends?

I just feel that publicly humiliating you is too easy and just pitiful! I believe that as a friend, I would be able to help with your teabagging problem.

    Cheers

  • Valkyrie101

Way over the top of reality, but if it feels good, go for it.

Oh dear- Dems ran Congress from 2007-2010 and the executive branch from 2009.

    Do try again!

Hey im going to listen to this guy because he’s the one who kept telling me to buy stocks when the market was at 14,000 and the the housing bubble was about to burst.

Yeah, sorry but the poll could have sampled far more repulican than democrat voters in the sample of 801 registered voters!

“You are  living proof that a person  can live without a brain!”
Surely, even you can see the stupidity in your comment.

  • Valkyrie101

Obama has made very few moves because the republicans are intent on using their majority status in the house, and their fillibuster power in the Senate, to block everything. And even though we have the lowest taxes in 60 years, and the big corporations are making record profits, they seek lower taxes still. So that they have more to invest in China. And that is the status quo you defend, LT. You’re just a pair of sunglasses and cheap black suit from being in the Matrix.

What was the unemployment rate in 1983, during Reagan’s first term? Peaked at 9.5%.

  • Silgary

The part you forgot to report about was on the earlier show. Anylists were hinting that the Stock Market was up the last few days because traders believe IT’S INEVITABLE that Obama is gone in 2012. Wall Street celebration.

  • Ralph

Nixon had just lost the 1962 Governor’s race to Pat Brown, the father of California’s current Governor Jerry Brown.

I’d heard that the Civil War Sesquicientennial thing wasn’t working out the way she expected and that Drew Gilpin was getting tired of being Harvard President.  Maybe Obama can do that job.

  • Anonymous

Michelle & the teapublicans hate this man so much, they are willing to let the economy and the United States go down, just so they can defeat him….This is pathetic, I don’t agree with him on everything he has done, but he is the President and deserves some cooperation, he can’t do it all by himself……He also deserves some respect for the good things he has done, which he will never get from these traiters……

  • Silgary

You loved him when he was all for taxing the rich.

  • Anonymous

You just aren’t very smart are you!!!…that was a statement of fact, not a question!!
The Dems held all 3 branches for 21/2 yrs and didn’t do a fricking thing to create jobs because they were too bust making shady deals to get Obamacare rammed down that very few people even want.
The only jobs created by the porkulus were Union jobs and Government jobs. With much of that money funneling back into the Democratic re-election funds.
If people like you would actually educate yourselves, this Country wouldn’t be in the mess it is!!

  • Valkyrie101

Cramer is such a chump. He said the economy would melt down like “armaggedon” if the debt ceiling was not raised, and without Obama, that is exactly what the republicans would have done. Nice to see your gratitude for that. And at the end of 2008, when the Bush wallstreet bailout was on the table, and the cramers of the world were saying that end of the world was at hand without it, Obama was there to back the Bush plan, and encourage it passing. What a thankless jerk.

No, Barry is running the economy and he is ruining it quite well with out the TPs help. You see, child, the Dems ran Congress from 2007-12/2010 and have held the Presidency since 1/2009.

    That’s called “control”.

  • Chris

“Higher than 51%”??  51.5% is not astonishing…especially when it’s been under 50% for parts of the last few months and no Republican challenger has been named.  Really…talk about misleading…

  • Anonymous

Awww stonepark, I know that I hurt your feelings but can we be friends? I am tired of making you look stupid.

  • insideguy

Actually isn’t that funny? We love our commentators when they say something we agree with and hate them when they don’t. I don’t understand how Business leaders could hate Obama. When he came into office the market was at 8000 now its a 11500. If they hate him so bad why are they making record profits? Does Gates hate him? Does Buffet hate him? Does Steve Jobs hate him? Exxon cant hate him because I own Exxon stock and it keeps going up.

  • Anonymous

    Really?

The policies of Bush were really bad?

Just what was the unemployment under Bush?

    Dec 2001: 3.7%
    Dec 2002: 5.4%
    Dec 2003: 5.7%
    Dec 2004: 5.1%
    Dec 2005: 5.1%
    Dec 2006: 4.6%
    Dec 2007: 4.8%
    Dec 2008: 7.1%

Under Barry? Over 9% for 24 out of 26 months!

You might want to take note of the fact that the Republicans have only had the house for 8 months…  Nice try slick.

Child, the only person stupid here is you!

Some day you will find yourself – and wish you hadn’t.

  • Ralph

Obama strategists realize that an essential element of the 2008 win was the presence of a hugely unpopular person in the White House, and have been working diligently to re-create that fact without actually understanding the dynamic.

  • Anonymous

“ I don’t understand how Business leaders could hate Obama. When he came into office the market was at 8000 now its a 11500.”

Because as Obama and the Dems have said Bush is responsible for the economy and since the DOW has increased from 8000-11500, it is because of Bush and he gets the credit!

You can’t have it both ways.

  • insideguy

Yes and you know Fox will be all over these numbers lol

  • Anonymous

Note that Jim Cramer is a lifelong Democrat.  But he sees the handwriting on the wall.  And, unlike most liberals in the media, he actually tells people what he thinks, rather than spins issues for political correctness and political games-playing.

The honest truth is that the more intelligent Democrats now realize that they won’t win with Obama in 2012.   But most are afraid to speak their mind, since the Left savagely attacks anyone, even liberals, who don’t follow the President blindly into political self-immolation.

Remember how savagely the liberal media attacked Bart Stupak and Joe Lieberman for not supporting Obamacare?   So liberals have learned to shut up and stick to the party line – but the result will be any even worse defeat in 2012.  That’s the price the Democrats pay for running their party with such brain-numbing groupthink and unwillingness to allow dialogue and debate.

  • insideguy

Before Bush left office the market at one point had lost 50% of its value. There is some looooooooove for ya! Bushes mess is gonna take a long time to dig out and the market is moving up slowly but its moving. And would have been doing even better if your ding a lings in congress hadn’t made it drop 1,000 points with their fake debt limit crisis.

  • Jason

Yea, there are very few of those still around. There are idiots like you, who love Obama and hate everyone to the right of Pelosi, but there are very few “liberals” left.

  • Jason

Look at the guts of that poll, stupid. LOL

  • insideguy

Are you being serious Cramer doesn’t spin issues? Please his whole freaking show is spin.

  • Jason

He deserves a kick in the ass and a plane ticket back to Chicago. Nobody is required to follow his stupid ass down the economic toilet, and if the Republicans do, they will pay for it. Simple as that.

  • Anonymous

Remember how the utterly incompetent, bumbling fool jimmy “the peanut” carter sat in the White House and twiddled his thumbs while Americans were captured and held hostage in iran and interest rates skyrocketed to 25% over his failed economic policies?  Now think about what’s even more incompetent and bumbling: “You Lie!” hussein, who golfs, vacations and parties while America drowns in his debt and deficits and failed policies.  “You Lie!” has clearly taken the title from “the peanut” as “The #1 Worst President of Modern America”.  Sorry, jimmy, you’ve been demoted to just the SECOND WORST.

Obama is going to easily destroy what ever TeaBagger the Rightys throw at him.

You WackJob righties never thought he could be Hillary either.

    You Righties are such simpletons.

  • Jason

Exactly, in-trade has to keep it at around 50% because historically Presidents who aren’t primaried by their own party generally win re-election. Also, they have to take into account that Republicans could do something really stupid and nominate Ron Paul, or Michelle Bachmann. No offense to either of them, as they would both be better than Barry, but they would lose.

I hope this statement by Jim Cramer wasn’t supposed to be some startling revelation. Obama has been bad mouthing business since day one. Why would they feel all warm and fuzzy about him?
How is business supposed to survive, let alone grow and prosper in the climate that Obama has so carefully nurtured?

  • Anonymous

Jim Cramer spent 14 years as a hedge fund manager, and made an average of $10 million per year from his investments.  Only a kool aid drinking liberal would think that his career is built on spin.

Here are the plain facts:  Cramer has more real world experience than the President and his entire cabinet — which is built up of career politicians and radical academics.  And that can be amply documented, my friend.

Here’s a start to your education:

Business leaders are hated by most Americans for shipping jobs out of the country… so who really care what business leaders think!!

  • DEE RUSH

If the business leaders truly hate Obama (despite the fact that he has saved their fortunes for them), then my opinion of the president has risen.  Because I truly LOATHE the business leaders.  Their greed has led this country to near ruin.

Trust me…I am NO fan of Bush!! I switched my affiliation to Independent because of Bush policies and Obama is 3 times worse than Bush.
If you hated Bush you should really hate Obama because there is no difference except Obama tripled down on Bush policies!!

Ohh, and it was the Dems who caused the housing fiasco during the Clinton yrs by saying everyone deserves a house regardless. You can thank Barney Frank and Chris Dodd for that!! I finally collapsed during the Bush yrs but wasn’t caused by him or his policies.
McCain is on tape saying Freddy and Frannie are unstable but the Dems wanted no part of doing an investigation.

    Educate yourself!!

  • Michelle

U, are you talking to me?  Why would I support him when his policies are bad for America?  That would be idiotic.

Yes, as a matter of fact I did give President Bush respect for the good things he did, and really liked him personally…Didn’t always agree with his decisions either…I just don’t believe in totally disrespecting the office or the man that is President of the United States…All the decency seems to have gone out of the republican party these days, I just can’t see all the hate has helped solve anything……

Actually, insideguy, the big money was made investing in gold, which has taken off since Obama got into office. Conservatives like me made a bundle, because we knew that Obama would trash the dollar and send people running to gold in fear.

Price of gold the day Obama took office:   $652
Price of an ounce of gold today:  $1,810
    Return on investment = 177%

As for stocks, the biggest boost has been in the stocks of companies with a large percent of their business outside the US.  The collapse in the dollar has increased the impact of foreign earnings on their financial reports.  Here again, people could have made easy money by betting that Obama would undermine the US dollar.

Do you see a pattern there? Supposedly the tax cuts would mean reinvestment and more jobs. The opposite happened because the tax savings were invested in foreign countries, not ours. In 2008 the economy was on the brink of world wide disaster. Did you forget that?

Under Reagan, in 1983, at the same point in his administration as Obama, the unemployment rate peaked at 9.5%. At the time, Reagan, and his admin, pointed out that they had inherited a bad economy. Yet, that economy was no where near as bad as the one Obama inherited just 2.8 years ago, with the potential for catestrophic meltdown taughted by no less than Cramer himself.

  • Silgary

Guy’s like Buffet and Immelt use this President.  Why are the markets up for a lot of these companies? Overseas business. Regulations and costs are cut dramaticly.
They want the same opportunity to clean up in the States and this administration is making it difficult.
No doubt  Cramer made money on insider trading, stock tips, or cashing in on touting stocks. No doubt after watching him interview Geitner he’s an administration lackey. That’s why I believe him on this statement.
Stock Market is also up because interest rates are so low. Banks want to charge fees for leaving your money sitting in accounts. So people gamble on the Market and the sharks keep eating us up.

Dude, surely you know the new republican rules, its called a super majority. And without it, nothing gets done. The republicans in the Senate used the filibuster a record number of times, in just a couple years, to block most of what Obama wanted to do. Of course they said they were going to make him fail like Napolean at “Waterlloo”, so no surprise they did that. But you can not have it both ways.

Lol Felix you gold nitwits. Tell you what you keep buying gold Ill stick to whats made people real money in the last 100 years. Buy low sell high my friend thats how it works. If you would have bought apple on jan 2 of 2009 for 85 bucks a share now its 385 bucks a share. How much of an increase of percentage is that? So you bought gold I bought apple who is richer me or you? The fact is the US companies are making record profits under Obama. And your comment about doing business outside of the US is a joke any company of large size does worldwide business thats just a fact. And if they aren’t then they aren’t worth a crap.

Oh please you only get eaten up by the sharks if you are a lemming. Who has ever made real money leaving it in banks. They are a joke. Guys like Buffet know when to buy and when to sell they don’t panic. Most who lost money panic just like the lemmings who sold during this manufactured debt crisis. Just like the idiots who sold during the crash of 2007 2008. Guys like Buffet bought then because they know how things work. Thats how you make money. Not by listening to Glenn Beck telling you to buy gold while the company that sells it is shaving your profit off the top. We in this country are far to pessimistic there are tons of opportunities out there to invest and make money.  Anyone who puts money in a bank with no interests accounts deserves to have no money. If you are a cautious investor fine but hell at least buy Mcdonalds stock or something. They are a huge ever expanding company with huge profits and pay a good dividend. Some people I just don’t get.

Cramer was a big fan of Obama as he was a big supporter and friend of Elliot Spitzer. Methinks he will feel the same remorse about Barry once is done in 2013.
Much of the senior leadership of the Fortune 500 thought the war was a waste, they soured on Bush and felt Obama was the right guy. After all with his Ivy League education and overwhelming support from Wall Street and Europe, how could they go wrong. Well Obama proved that education does not a leader make, and ultimately liberal policy is a failure.
We will all be paying the price for years to come.

Wall street and Business leaders only have themselves to blame for putting the country in debt. This is what happens when you try to  push all the debt on to the lower class… YOU NO LONGER HAVE CONSUMERS.

  • Anonymous

Your understand of the 2008 crash is the skewed and ridiculous narrative crafted by Fox and Rush to lay blame on the poor and the dems, when the poor are completely blameless, and the dems are culpable, but significantly less than the party of radical de-regulation (hint: the GOP.)   The crash of 2008 had a lot more to do with Glass Steagell being repealed (republican authored legistlation but to be fair, it was signed by Clinton who was pushed on by Bob Rubin) which allowed Investment banks to bundle toxic mortagages into complex derivatives and other securities, also allowing Commerical banks and insurance companies to get in on that insanely risky action (AIG anyone?)

The whole “It was caused because democrats wanting to get poor people into houses” is laughable.  The issue that drove the crisis was that Wall Steet suddenly being able to sell sub prime mortage backed securities to any and everyone under bogus AAA ratings created an insane market for everyone down the chain from mortgage wholesalers & resellers, local branch lender, to mortgage brokers. If Glass Steagall had still be in place, non of this would have been possible.   The Fed also fueled the cycle like crazy by keeping interest rates crazy low pumping cashing into the machine.

Jim Cramer, did you see Doug Oberhelman, CEO of Caterpillar, on TV talking about how dysfunctional this 112th Congress is? Everyone must take care when they speak, even more so if you have notoriety. His comments could signify the bigotry and prejudice against president Obama by the extreme wing of the GOP called the TEA party. Everyone should American-up and pay attention to who is running and who supports that candidate. President Obama is not hated by American, only by this extreme faction. What we need is for Congress to pass the budget! Pay the bills! Quit jacking with the economy! Let’s stop calling names and get real for America.

Corporation profits are at an all time high, taxes are the lowest in decades and Wall Street is up 30% since Obama took office.

The problem is Big Business can’t DICTATE to Obama what they want and that drives them crazy.  Screw ‘em.

  • Wilson

    Fedup,

Perhaps a civics course is in order.  It takes 60 votes in the Senate to call the question on a bill and actually vote on it.  The Repubs have essentially filibustered every substantive bill.

Eight months while our economy tanks is a very, very long time, bud.

  • SILGARY

You sound like Cramer. Did you understand the reply? You asked why people aren’t in love with Obama with the Stock Market being up and I gave the same answer you gave back only yours had an insult. If people could get 5% at the bank the stock market would be less than it is today.
Banks are getting their money for free and they’ll take the 2-3% return with no risk. That’s another reason this country can’t expand. Banks don’t want to lend.
I know plenty of people in the market and the average investor is at a disadvantage. BTW when Obamacare hits I’d get out of McDonald’s. There is reason they asked for a waivor.

But companies are hiring SILGARY, they have been hiring for the last 18 months straight. Local and state govt are the ones laying off people at a massive rate which should make conservatives happy.  The thing people don’t understand on the left and the right is we don’t live in some kind of insulated bubble anymore. You can see how the market moves on world events every day. Debt crisis in Greece stocks go down, Europe promises to get act together stocks go up bla bla. We live in a world economy if demand rises over seas then we will be fine. If it drops we will not be so fine.  Apple is doing well because they compete worldwide, so does Ford so does   Intel, so does Mcdonalds ect. How the hell does a company like Mcdonalds make money in these socialistic european countries? They adjust the adapt to the market place. These Banks are going to have to do the same. They are over staffed bloated relics of a bygone age. Hell my bank cant even begin to compete with my local credit union. If they want to keep on trying to give people less than 1% on their saving while loaning out money at 8 or 10% who’s going to buy into that crap. They need to adjust their costs and and debt just like every other business.  They are afraid to lend money because they like the govt don’t wanna adjust the costs of doing business. Bank Of America is in the process right now laying off 30,000 people because they are inefficient.

Wow, I didn’t know you could do that big type stuff. Awesome. Again, you can fool some of the people some of the time, but not all the people. Especially since the republican leadership announced their intention to oppose everything Obama, and thus stymie any effort that our duly elected president may make. Everybody knows about it. And over the next year at every opportunity we will be reminding the public that the tea party republicans tried to intentionally put our counry into default. I mean opposing the President is one thing, but Jesus.

The discourse on these message boards are always…interesting.

Well they gave things for people on both sides to either jerk too, or rage about. They went after Obama, but then spent the rest of the segment criticizing the Republicans. Along both lines too. It was basically ‘Obama is killing jobs’, and ‘Republicans got too extreme’. A denunciation of both. So should I love them or hate them for what they said? If one statement isn’t credible and is crazy, doesn’t that make the other talking point such as well?

You look at the hiring from the last 18 months and it’s only a rebound of small proportions from what happened in late 2008. Businesses addressed the downturn by cutting costs and laying off people. Since they had extra inventory they laid off extra employees with the expectation when demand picked up they would rehire. So this enemic job growth is in the service sector and very little in manufacturing. I use to order equipment and get it in 1 week, now it takes 6. Nobody is keeping excessive inventory except the automobile sector and I’m talking about the ones that were bailed out. It’s nice when the government covers your ass. Stimulus kept the State workers employed and since the well has dried up they’re facing what businesses had to face. Tough living in the real world isn’t it?

Man I can’t wait until his second term, your side is going to implode and start killing people. YOU CANT BEAT OBAMA. YOU NEVER WILL.

Make all the jokes you want, he’s a decent guy and he’s done good for this country when it’s seriously in trouble. No one cares what you think and the poor white stupid people that all hate Obama are wrong as usual, as the GOP is always wrong… as Republicans are always wrong.

Your side is on the losing side of history. Obama hasn’t been radical at all in what he’s done, he’s tried his best to help and has been incredibly bi-partisan.

Truth is Republicans and the GOP are going all out because they can’t defeat Obama. So they have to keep increasing their attacks.

It’s never going to work.. because Obama is better than probably anyone in the GOP… and he can’t be taken down by fake bad press, his supporters are too smart.

So good luck trying to find ACTUAL reasons Obama is bad.. because deep down it all falls back to opinion and most people can see that Obama inhereited an incredibly bad situation and he’s only one person… and one person with the entire Republican party against him.. so it’s not hard to see why he can’t get what he wants passed.

I mean even today, Obama passes a jobs package… and republicans say it’s only going to help Obama get a job? Does that mean it will be successful and that we shouldn’t pass it merely because it won’t be a failure? Is that how the Republican mind works? And you REALLY think that your side is winning?

Republicans have gotten the worst PR in the last 10 years than ever before. You have such a hill to climb you have no clue. Good luck, lol.

Have you noticed the new narrative for the Democrats? I feel certain that the old boy network is going to try to FORCE Obama not to seek a second term so they can anoint Hillary. Check out John Fund’s take on the matter. That’s why you’re starting to see “Morning Joe,” Cramer, Jon Stewart, etc. criticize Obama and a Gawker article on an upcoming NYT article about Obama being clinically depressed- they want to replace him with Hillary. It should be an interesting Fall.

Maybe they can get Vernon Jordan to talk to his niece, Valerie Jarrett, who will then explain to Michelle and Barack just how the cow ate the cabbage and that he will need to announce that he won’t run in 2012.

    FTA:

” if this is rock bottom, things can only get better for him.”

It’s a good thing I didn’t have a mouthful of coffee when I read that because for the past year I have had an image in my head of Obama morphed into Wile E. Coyote treading air above the Grand Canyon.  Consequently, out of all of the words in the sentence fragment I have pasted above, give greatest weight to the word “if”.  Before a short list of comparable  examples I would just like to explicitly reply to the author, Mr. Crugnale, when he hits bottom, you won’t have to speculate on it.  He’s not only still falling, he’s picking up speed, still has a long way down to fall and does not appear to be equipped with any sort of parachute.  You’ll know when he hits bottom because you’ll see a hot smoking crater where an American presidential administration used to be.

How bad can the news be when it is so bad it is getting the story that this administration sold automatic weapons to Mexican drug cartels for no apparent reason, at least any reason that produced a positive result, is swept off the news cycle in both a transparent attempt by the LSM to ignore the story to death and the even more surreal happenstance of having a new wave of even worse news giving the LSM the uncomfortable luxury of having an excuse not to focus on the incredible guns-to-cartels story, a story even Hollywood leftists wouldn’t consider as a screen play because the notion is too preposterous for people to suspend disbelief, by dire news for the economy and a rising fear among the population the control of the country and the world by default, and appears to be on the verge of a total worldwide global economic collapse,  has fallen into the hands of nincompoops?

  • ganymede

I’m really not a fan of Jim Cramer’s although he’s mellowed a bit after he got a dressing down from Jon Stewart. For obvious reasons, Cramer never really can address the real economic issues .Namely, when the rich get richer and the poor and middle classes get poorer, democracy breaks down. And we’ve reached the breaking point where we were over 100 years ago in the time of the Robber Barons.
Also, when you see the brainwashed idiots at the Republican debate shouting for the sick guy to die and exulting over the record number of people executed by Rick Perry, you know we’re in deep doo. As a country and culture we have lost our souls.
Hopefully, we’ll pull back in time and dump all these rightwingers and authoritarian radicals who  want to turn America into a corporate ‘fascist’ state. All that Cramer and most of the financial pundits are doing is having a nonsensical argument. What difference does it make whether Obama is hated like Carter was or wasn’t. That stupid Carter wanted us to get off the oil standard and had better ideas about the economy than any of the dopes, and, alas, I’m including Obama, and, of course, St. Reagan, who really started the anti-government movement. Anti-government means less regulation for overly greedy businesspeople, which is why we’re in this mess. It really is time for a change and we should join in the movement to create a genuine populist revolution. A real Tea Party not controlled by oligarchs and various polluting billionaires plus the usual, know-nothing fundamentalists, will attract the majorityof people in this country.

Maybe it’s the color of his skin? I mean really? What else is there? Jimmy Carter put Paul Volker in charge of the Fed., the guy who raised the interest rates, ending the inflation during Reagan’s term, when nobody else knew what to do. Carter passed every piece of legislation he created through both houses that were controlled by Republicans and the only other President to do that was Lyndon Johnson. He didn’t lose the election, Reagan stole it. Remember the Iran Contra affair? Obama is learning the game and will win in 2012…………..

With his job destroying and hate America policies, Obama is very easy to hate by most anyone.

The Tea-Party has, what, to do with Mr.Cramers facts. Why don’t you just say Bush said it. That’s about as much sense as your statement makes.

CNBC has a buisness News show? Really, for how long?

Substantive bill? What bill do you know of that meets that description.

  • caconservative

Is a filibuster proof majority needed to pass bills that helps America? Your statement underlines the corrupt intension of Obimbo’s agenda. Even his own Party couldn’t go along with most of the crap this clown tried to get passed!

  • caconservative

When does Obimbo actually become president? When does actually begin to lead? When does he stop bing the “excuse-in-chief” and take on the responsibility that office demands? On every level, Demo-Rats are distancing themselves from this looser and yet, people like you are still trying to find justification for this clowns failures. Why is that?!

As early as 2001, Bush was warning about Fannie and Freddy faulty loan qualifications while scumbags like Waters, Dodd, and Franks were covering for them.

    Add me to that list!!

Your grasp of the ridiculous is amazing. Who the hell do you think the was in charge of regulating all of it?!! Who the hell was demanding the Banks and lending institutions lend to anyone that could breath, setting up every lending scam possible?! Was it Bush, or those little rascals at the Demo-Rat Party? Dodd, Waters, Franks, which one of them is a Republican?

Most business leaders hate President Obama like they
hated like Jimmy Carter. That means all people who are not business people, and
that is a lot of people, who have a vote and a decent mind in their head knows
President Obama and Jimmy Carter are mighty fine people, if this group of
people want to be a hero, they need only vote for Obama in 2012 and America can
be made whole once again. Remember Billionaires are the business people they
are referring to who probably have their sights set on being the ones who
control that one world industrial government we have all read about. That will
eliminate America the Beautiful and things may not be beautiful after that. This
may be our last chance to save the world from a global one world industrial government.
At my age, I know it will be my last. I
would hate to die leaving our children, a government run by a bunch of industrialist.
I think everyone would be forced to work
until they die because Social Security would not exist.

Just a hint: When you deregulate a huge chunk of the financial sector as we did in 2000, you know who is in charge of regulating it?  NO ONE.  Thats the point.

And if you think that the Sub-prime meltdown was pushed by 3 senators rather than pulled by the possibility of 10s or 100s of Billions in fast profits for the 5 major investment banks, you really are beyond hope.
