Sarah Palin To Host First Fox News Show Thursday – With LL Cool J

This is not an April Fool’s joke. Sarah Palin will take her first stab at television hosting when she fronts a new Fox News series, Real American Stories, premiering Thursday April 1 at 10pmET.

Guests for the first show include country singer Toby Keith, rapper/actor LL Cool J and Jack Welch. Get excited.

The show will “focus on a range of such stories including a Marine Medal of Honor recipient who gave his live to save his comrades.” But also there will be the celebrity guests – a very broad range of celebrity guests.

Airing in place of On The Record with Greta Van Susteren, the prime time spot ensures a large audience. And depending on just how large, we could see a lot more of Palin hosting on Fox News.

The program re-airs Sunday at 9pmET.

Love Toby Keith and LL, so I’ll be watching. I’ve actually been wondering about how Toby’s feeling about the hope and change lately, so I hope she asks him about it. I know he does consider himself a Dem, which I’m fine with. He’s at least thoughtful about it and not hateful. I’d love to get his take on the state of things right now. Good luck, Sarah! Let me hate begin!

Sarah Palin as a (more) conservative Barbara Walters?

Borrowing one of Greta’s timeslots makes sense. She’s the weak link on Fox’s primetime; The other shows will give the Governor a big lead-in and I’m sure she’ll have no problem eclipsing Cooper on her first time out.

Does anyone know how many of shows Palin’s contract calls for and is this possibly a tryout for a once-a-week thing?

Confirmed: Palin is not running for President.

MichelleF…I’ve disagree with you quite a bit on here, but I find something in common with you…I’m a huge Toby Keith fan. That’s right, a liberal Toby Keith fan. Who’da thunk it? Toby has been a great defender of the troops. You are right, he isn’t hateful with his politics and says what’s true, that left and right politics are hurting this country.

He’s a Democrat that has voted for Dems and Repubs. He has said that he supports President Obama even if he doesn’t agree with everything he does and that he basically agrees with health care reform, but has parts of it he doesn’t like.

I normally wouldn’t watch a show hosted by Sarah Palin, but I think I’ll watch Friday.

This is a “news” show? LOL Yeah. Mmmkay.

The celebrity guests seemed like an odd selection, but it does cover a wide spectrum. With LL Cool J, it’ll be mostly fluff. With Toby Keith, it’ll cover entertainment and politics. And with Jack Welch, the topic will almost certainly be the economy and maybe health care.

What’s the format for the show though? I heard FoxNews built her a studio in Alaska. Is she broadcasting from there?

As for what this does or doesn’t do for her Presidential prospects, unless she completely bombs, I don’t see why it would have a negative effect. If Ronald Reagan can survive “Bedtime for Bonzo”, Palin can handle a 1-hour news/entertainment show on Fox.

“Confirmed: Palin is not running for President.” – Awesome!

I think its great but I know the liberal left media are going to come after her more the ever on hate.
They will attack her because she is not a seasoned host, They will call her stupid on any question that they dont like …They will bring on the biggest hate speech to her then ever before now.
they cant stand her even being alive.

Doughboy: Why would you assume the LL Cool J segment will be mostly fluff? Not saying it won’t be but he isn’t exactly your typical airhead rapper either.

PureFreedom: I am certain that the far far left will pick on her for every little thing that she does like they do already…but she will also be certainly called out by everybody except the far right on all the stupid and ignorant things that she does whenever she is in front of a camera.

I just read an article about LL Cool J being upset with Sarah Palin over the use of an old interview of his in the promo of her show. The article didn’t mention anything about him being a guest on the show.

Praise Geesussah!! All of the GOP demagogues & repressive rodents will be watching – as they scurry about in their cages. Their little naughty parts all engorged and tingling, as they experience Sarah exposing all the grievous caverns of hellfire sin!! God Bluss Murcuh!!!

LL COOL J says this is an old interview and he doesn’t want it USED on Fox News and doesn’t want it to re-air with $arah Palin…one wonders about the other interviews or stories.

Sarah Palin’s career would be over in half an hour if she were to appear on a grownup, serious adult questions program like “Meet the Press” or “Face the Nation.”
