Good to see NBC pushing more viewers to FOX….

Poor Greta. Fifteen years plus on cable news and people still spell her name wrong!

They must be saving material on Glenn Beck.. I would have hoped to see something more funny on him thus far. It was funny overall.

This isn’t directed exclusively toward this individual site in particular, but 12:03 (Eastern) is 11:03 (Central), 10:03 (Mountain) and 9:03 (Pacific). When this post went online, the show hadn’t started in two time zones.

SNL was so funny tonight, keep up the good work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

traditionally I love the SNL political stuff, they have had some brilliant skits in the past. This one was a little weak. Not because it pokes fun at FOX, I just didn’t think it was that funny. The funniest line was Will from Will and Grace, but not Jack. And the Attractive Blonde Lady was kind of funny, but overall, I think the skits/jokes were lacking. They could have been so much better. Oh, cutting off Gibbs was funny at the end.

I don’t think they can ever top the *Bush* playing with yarn like a kitten skit. Or *lockbox*.

@sarah: Agreed. The Beck segment wasn’t as funny as the previous one.

I think it’s great that NBC mocks Fox; it proves that Fox is ‘on their brain.’ Clearly the whole NBC franchise has morphed into a laughable caricature that Fox can mock at will and many times each day. I can live with an occasional broadside from the NBC combatants heading the other way. The effect is marginal given the comparable ammo that Fox has at their disposal.

Off-topic: Where does one update their profile and upload an avatar image?

I am able to view the Fox video but not the SNL video…is it up yet?

I have tons of criticisims of FNC, but that sketch bore no resemblance to Fox News. Obviously, Greta never anchors that type of reporting. It was simply a gratuitious way of showcasing Wig’s impersonation of her. Crooked mouth-HILARIOUS (not)! Really, really poor job, SNL. I look forward to a much better, scathing sketch of FNC after the writers actually watch and familiarize themselves with the programming.
Later in the show, however, SNL did a truly funny parody of Rahm Emmanuel apologizing . Can we maybe get a clip of that posted here at Mediaite?

SNL should have Beck as a guest. Would be a hoot.

I am not sure he would be alloowed to go though. He would be able to go toe to toe with anyone they through at him though,.

We don’t get NBC where I live. It’s on the air. We just don’t get it.

Beck should host, that would be a great night.

This sketch was not funny, aside from Wigg’s GVS impersonation and “Attractive Blonde Lady.”

Samburg’s Rahm sketch later in the show was hysterical.

Now, the “What is Burn Notice?” sketch – THAT was funny. That’s how you virally market a sister network (USA)’s property!

Sara, you post at Johnny Dollars Dungpile the other day, he is the one that has to lie about Fox News to save face.
I watched the SNL skit again and it was funny, and true. If Hugo Chavez ran for president as a Conservative they would support him, Fox News is a joke and they now it.

This is tremendous of the foremost blogs in the field of educational activity. If I don’t came in for a couple of days, there are so many stakes that it’ll make me a couple of hrs just to go through whatsoever I missed!! Kudos.
