Not bad for a news network that’s “not real news.” Way to go, Fox!

The reason CNN and MSNBC are getting beat is because people are getting tired of a liberal slant to their news. FOX is so fair and balanced it actually looks like a conservative network to the liberals. People have stopped watching networks that lie and place thier spin on the news. I use to love watching CNN but I finally got tired of the liberal slant that they place on their stories, its sick.

I still find it funny that the far left still can’t grasp the fact that Fox News is the best cable news network. The left can try and spin the reason they are number one but it only makes people want to watch Fox even more.

More viewers means more advertising dollars. As the viewers leave CNN and MSNBC, so does the advertisers. Soon, CNN and MSNBC will be extinct like Air America. How does the media expect to gain advertisers when they are full of gossip and continue to attack businesses?

Hopefully, CNN and MSNBC will be replaced by more credible news networks that come out to compete with Fox News. As of right now, Fox News has no competition. Only Liberal Gossip Networks.

Not only is it the only fair and balanced network, if you watched Glenn today it is also fair, balanced and entertaining. He schooled poor Arienna for her attack on him on Sunday ABS morning show.

I will never understand why MSNBC and CNN continue to fight it out for only the leftwing of the country. I know CNN stopped competing with FNC when Cooper et al decided to join the MSNBC gutter with the whole teabagging thing. As Beck often says, if the other networks would just report anything conservative, they would get additional viewers, but both CNN and MSNBC decide to stay clearly left only.

Go figure.

The network they try to marginalize is the one the majority is watching. Go figure. I guess there is something to be said for telling the other side of the story. But I’m sure MSNBC and CNN are up for some kind of award, like the bogus awards in the entertainment industry.

This is not at all surprising since Fox is clearly ONLY balanced network on TV. A bi-partisan round-table discussion of issues for the alphabet networks (CNN,MS-NBC,ABC,CBS,NBC) consists of a group of progressives/liberals/communists. It’s rather amusing that they think people don’t see that. I do enjoy watching the alphabets though just for the entertainment of how pathetic they are.

A triuism, “Water will ALWAYS seek it’s own level”. So too with intellectual, engaged consumers of news, science or any category of interest. I don’t consider most Americans simply viewers…that connotates a passive attitude.
Those who care, want to be engaged and can sniff out bias will reject the odors emitted by the
vegetable soup of Broadcast & Cable news organizations. Voila! Fox on top for over a hundred months and going strong. Olberman is like the yippy, nippy, annoying little lapdog that deserves a good boot across the room. Madcow is not much better.
There is a God. Americans are blessed. This is a Great Nation. Never let free speech be stifled. America will be a global leader as long as Americans unfettered access to unfiltered news. Here’s to another 100 months Fox!

I’m not sure how someone who can see that CNN/MSNBC is biased to the left, cannot see that FOX is biased to the right? They’re BOTH biased people. Fox being far more blatant about it, thus getting better ratings. Take the networks for what they are, vehicles for their respective party buzzwords. For those of you that think that Fox doesn’t report the news, please explain to everyone here why you think that is. What makes everyone else so much better in your opinion? Is it because the other networks have less commentary? Do you not like the editorialization type format of some of the segments? Is it because you don’t like the news casting or the commentators? Just because there’s no Fox Headline News doesn’t mean there’s no news there. There is bias everywhere you look.

Try watching BBC, that’s more like ‘real’ news. When Fox is in the tank for the Republicans, and NBC/ABC/CNN are in the tank for the Democrats, you need to look elsewhere, where politics hasn’t crept in. They work in unison (for corporate interests) to split the American people and prevent any type of change in the status quo.

Who do you think pays for all those ads ? Financial industry, drug/healthcare industry, car industry, etc. Nothing but interest groups who are looking for the government to write the rules so that they can make more money. So they pay the media industry by running commercials. In turn, they media spins programming to whip up the people and divide them, and then nothing gets done. HOORAY! Look at how well the healthcare industry was able to prevent any substantive changes in healthcare reform. Deadlocked. They’re the big winners. Look at the statistics, Fox is killing all the other cable programs. Despite your silly comments, a large percentage of watchers in the Fox audience are Democracts, unlike CNN and MSNBC whose audience is one directional only – leftist. You point to BBC, which has an audience of less than CNN or MSNBC in the U.S. and is known as one of the most biased news organizations in the world. This should not shock anyone. When you show BOTH sides of the news as opposed to just the liberal-left view point, this is how your ratings will look. Of course, ABC, CBS, CNN and NBC (the National Barack Channel) will never get the message, no matter how far down their ratings go. One can only wonder how long before the stock holders of these companies will let the ratings continue to slip before they speak up? And no liberals, Fox is not a conservative network. It is “fair and balanced” just as they say. While I am conservative, I have friends of all political views. My liberal friends and family even admit they watch Fox to get both views of the story. I always find it amusing that liberals decry Fox News as being biased, when I COULD know all of their points and the conservative points by exclusively watching Fox.

I could argue the liberal side of things as good as many of the better liberal spokespeople; yet, when you talk to anyone whose sole source of information is one of those other networks, they are simply not even aware of some of the major issues, let alone the finer points of those issues.

Now, I gain my information from a wide variety of sources, but EVERY point the left wing media makes can be found on Fox News. The same cannot be said for the other networks.

The reason why I watch Fox and none of the others is simple: If Newt Gingrich robs a bank. I will hear about it there and it will be covered. If Barak Obama shows up at a gala event with a lampshade on his head and a Hitler moustache, I’ll hear about that too. The other networks simply dont cover news stories they dont happen to feel like covering. That is their problem. They arent news organizatons, they are mickey mouse fan clubs for the left. Anyone who cant stand to have their own side criticised, will love the Mickey mouse club. I prefer to have the grown ups bring me the news. I have never seen Fox cover up a story like I have the others. They do tell you everything.

As experience has shown, if you want to watch news that is completely biased towards Barry barack and his cohorts, you watch NBC, MSNBC, CBS, ABC or CNN. If you want to watch news that is biased towards the truth, then you watch FOX. It’s funny how many people in the media demean FOX News. MSNBC and CNN both make their big mistakes by constantly spewing left wing hatred and lies and having NO balance at all. You never see guests with views that are in conflict with the hosts view. I don’t get this argument that because cable news isn’t watched like the Lifetime network or ABC primetime, that’s it’s somehow unimportant in the scale of things.

Cable news is 24 hour news coverage. In a world where newspapers and magazine are unfortunately folding up, and more people getting their info from the tube and the net, aren’t ratings for news channels significant?

Of the people who assiduously follow current events, most of them watch FNC.

There use to be a youtube clip of Olby interviewing Mitt Romney after a primary debate (it’s been taken down). In the last month, three polls confirmed that America is a center-right country. (Gallup, WSJ/NBC News, and Carville and Greenburg’s DemocracyCorps.)

Gallup found that 40% of Americans are “very conservative” or “conservative”; 36% are moderates; and 21% are “liberal” or “very liberal”.

The WSJ/NBC News poll for January 2010 shows the country is 21% liberal, 38% moderate, and 34% conservative. These results are almost identical to polls from Jan 2006, Jan 2007, Jan 2008, and Jan 2009.

The DemocracyCorps poll showed likely voters are 17% liberal, 34% moderate, and 45% conservative. (People who don’t vote tend to be more liberal.)

So… those who say that America is a center-right country are right. Fox News Channel is a center-right cable news network, the others are not. So it should not be surprising that more people watch the FNC than CNN and MSNBC combined.

Those minorities on the left can defend the networks they watch, and perhaps there are enough of them to make CNN and MSNBC profitable even though the ratings are low. But Roger Ailes knows a little something about the American people; he was smart to hire Glenn Beck and CNN was stupid to let him go.

Because FOX doesn’t call people names, belittle them, ridicule them, obsesively attack powerful female conservatives from Alaska over the most thin allegations of made-up wrong doing. They are unlikable, shrill, pompous, arrogant, and wrong all the time. Only the few dozen people that watch them like them.

Amazing to me that anyone defends ANY cable news channel as a source of credible information. All of it is propaganda, FOX included.
